Chasm Sport Duffel Bag

Bought it because we were running short on suitcase space on a trip and it was a life saver, totally worth the price. It's sturdy, easy to fold and pack when not in use, and can hold everything perfectly . We used it while on a car trip and when we traveled by plane and it holds on splendidly. The 90L one was used by two people for a weekend trip to the mountains and it held 3-4 days worth of clothes (including a change of shoes for two people). The thing that did it for us was the fact that you can open it like a suitcase and take whatever you need from it without making a mess, and even though it was fully packed it was a great size to carry from the car to the house, put it in a small space and transport it in the trunk without any problems.

Super spacious and great quality. Very resistance to scuffs and scratches and handles rain well.

I bought this bag as a gift for a first time Wildland firefighter. It is being used as his 21 day bag. If you are familiar with this, you know the bag is thrown in the back of a buggy or an engine and tossed around quite a bit. It is ran through the elements and often used as a pillow. This bag has certainly held up to the elements and there is enough room in it for the amount of clothing needed on these assignments.

Perfect size for full set of turnouts mask helmet etc will be my go to bag for the rest of my career as a fireman.

Bought this to carry a month’s worth of clothes for both my partner and myself on a cross country trip. Massive capacity. We loaded it in a Thule cargo carrier and it’s definitely made to mimic the shape of their cargo boxes. Fit perfectly. Too large to carry as checked luggage or onboard for flights, but great as a car/overland carryall. Materials are quality, including zippers. Great value for the price at something this size. Looked into Patagonia black hole bag, but really happy with this instead. May look to buy one of the smaller capacity sizes to use for shorter trips.

It's well made and I like the green color. Not too flashy and well designed.

I just checked this both ways from the US east coast to Japan and it held up well. The outside coating can be scratched (see photo), but nothing even close to a rip or tear- and not enough to even take off a star. The backpack straps detach which makes it great for carrying around but then you can go to full duffle mode to check it (I put the backpack straps in my carryon). The zipper allows for a luggage lock. There are also straps on the side that allow you to cinch it down so there is less play when checking it. The duffle handles can even be snapped down when in backpack mode if that bothers you. Very thoughtful design- great for active vacations or trips where you are changing locations and you don’t want to drag a wheeled suitcase all over. Im a larger pretty fit person and fully packed it does get heavy on the back, I could see a smaller framed person struggle to backpack the 90L or bigger. Also comes with a compact storage bag- less space storing luggage too!

The bag is high quality, durable and well made, as it should be for a duffel bag that is on the higher end of the price range. It also has some individual compartments, so great for storing other clothing or other accessory items. Great for a road trip or family travel. Totally recommend!

5 star rating for this Thule Chasm Sport Duffle Bag. It is just the right size for overnight camp necessities, well made, and water resistant, which was very much appreciated at camp drop off when it started to rain. I love that it comes with its own small storage pouch.

Sehr robust und viel Platz. Die Tasche kommt in einer kleinen Tasche die man als Schuhtasche verwenden kann. Nachdem ich immer nach einer Duffel Tasche gesucht habe, bin ich endlich fündig geworden. Kann ich mir jedem empfehlen der nach einer guten Duffel Tasche sucht.
