Held 2 kayaks in place during moderate wind
Works great to hold 2 kayaks (tied together) in place with moderate wind. We didn’t budge a bit using my fish finder to verify. When using any anchor system the more line you let out the stronger the hold will be, so if this isn’t holding your kayak/paddle board the solution could be as simple as letting more line out so the anchor can hold better. I’m pleased with the quality and price of this 1.5lb anchor. I also purchased a 3.5lb kit from a different vendor and I think it is too heavy for my needs. I’ll stick with the 1.5lb.

Perfect for very small water craft
Works great. Excellent value for the money. Holds in the sand if you plant it. Compact. Just what i needed

Very light and compact.
Maybe too light. This anchor doesn't anchor very well. I wish I had bought a larger one. I'm using it for anchoring a kayak in light current on Sand and Rocky bottoms. The only way it works is too literally snag it in a hole. Then it is hard to pull up. For reference, I was previously using a 6 lb go devil handle which worked perfectly. So if you plan similar usage, this design is great, but I would buy a heavier model

Well built and great for lakes.
Great small anchor. I only kayak in lakes and this will be heavy enough. The same anchor was twice as expensive at Dick’s.

Good description in heading but missing size....DO NOT USE ON ROCKY BOTTOMS!
I think this will work great for what we want to use it for....(As a way to prevent our floating Patriot Pad floating down river...) The rope on our 5LB MUSHROOM anchor BROKE...so I am going to try to replace it with this. Now it is FALL here in MN...so I don't think I will use it this year, but I am impressed by: A- The price! Very reasonable! B- The length of the blades. I think it will do a good job of holding smaller/lighter floating objects on a "soft" bottom . I places the statement about the ROCKS as I can see this thing getting caught up on rocks and STUCK!!! C- Build quality seems good! D- How it "folds" up when NOT in use!!! What MAY not be good? A- Weight...at only 1.5 LBS...it may not "sink" quickly. B- Time to grab the bottom.....Not sure how quickly it will "grab" making placement important. C- How easy it will be to disengage. With the longer blades, will it come up easy? D- Getting stuck in ROCKS Still...I am giving it FIVE stars as I am betting it will be fine...but be aware of the bottom is will be used on and the weight and size....

Good for small skiffs or PWC
These are relatively small anchors, but work perfectly for small gifts and personal watercraft lightweight but should get the job done. The price is right too
