Fantastic
I recently got a new induction stove and looked at the shiny, perfect surface. I admired it. I touched it. I wiped off the fingerprint because man, it is NOT fingerprint resistant. I looked nervously at my collection of cast iron cookware, and back at the stove, channeled my best Gandalf and exclaimed, "YOU SHALL NOT SCRATCH" So here we are. I bought a set of these Lazy K cooktop mats, 3 of them in two sizes. I still need a fourth for the smallest element but I couldn't find a matching one in that size. Knowing how good these mats are now that I've used them for a couple of months, I'll be ordering another small one and just centering it over the element. It'll be too big but I trust this product now. I've tried to pay attention to the instructions saying that you shouldn't use these with the heat on high for an extended period. "Extended period" is a bit vague, but I've had the stove on max power for several minutes while boiling a pot of water and there were no ill-effects. So I'm pretty convinced that I don't need to be overly cautious with these. I expect that there's probably a small difference in heating time when using these mats, primarily because you're increasing the distance between the pan and the magnetic element by putting the mat between them. I haven't run any comparisons yet, but I don't think the difference has been noticeable to me. Cleaning them is pretty simple, a quick scrub with a brush and a little dish soap does the trick, or if I'm about to run the dishwasher I'll just throw them in there and they come out perfect. The radial lines in the design are slightly raised, which allows a small amount of airflow on either side and helps with minimizing the heat radiating back into the stove. It seems to work well, the stove surface is noticeably cooler right after removing a pan. It's still hot, but less likely to burn, and the surface is easily touchable after less than a minute. The mats leave no permanent marks. And they work great as a trivet when you need one quickly. I love these mats, they're an excellent idea for anyone that loves cast iron but doesn't want to mess up their glass induction top.

Highly recommend these pads
Works wonderfully on my LG Studio Induction Range. Not only does it keep the pan/pot steady, but there is no interference in cooking speed or temperature. It does make a great, comfortable base for cookware, and it's super easy to lift off and place in the dishwasher. It keeps the pan exactly where you place it on the surface and eliminates the potential for scratches. I bought all the different sizes for my range.

Perfect for Induction stove!
I'd like to start off with, I'm not sure half the reviews for this product understand the difference between an INDUCTION stove and a RADIANT electric glass top. They look the same when off, they certainly don't operate the same. People who write the reviews complaining that it burned or melted and ruined their stove... I don't see how that's possible with an induction stove. My suspicion is that they put it on a radiant cooktop expecting it to withstand direct heat. If you turn the stove on with no pot, and it gets hot, YOU DO NOT HAVE AN INDUCTION. That out of the way, this product is awesome. My parents have used an induction cooktop for years, and in all my apartments, I've always just dealt with crappy stoves. When my local energy company had a rebate for induction stoves, I finally got one and boy am I happy. My biggest problem was the fact that pots and pans tend to slide around since the surface was so smooth. Back to my parents I went to ask how they handle it, and I saw that my dad has been making his OWN silicone ring to prevent sliding and to lift the pots off the glass to avoid scratching. Now, I can't make my own. I don't even know how, but I knew there had to be a product out there for just that purpose. Voila~! This product ticks all the boxes. It's nice looking, prevents sliding, and works on all my pots with the exception of my SMALLEST saucepot. That one I need to put on the stove directly, probably just not enough metal to really trigger the induction coil with a layer between them. Also, if you have a lighter color one, it WILL discolor. That's just the nature of the material over time and repeated heat. It does after some use leave a little bit of an imprint on the glass, but it's definitely not permanent. Just a little wipe with glasstop cleaner and it's back to being pristine. I have gotten even more lazy about it, and put a piece of paper towel between the product and glass surface, but I wouldn't leave it on there for longer cooks for fear of something happening. But the paper has never even browned or looked damaged in the short stirfrys I've done. Overall, I'm super happy with this product. Just make sure you have an INDUCTION stove and not a RADIANT electric glasstop!!

Works for most induction cooking applications
This thing performs as advertised. It prevents scratching of the glass (esp with cast iron skillets), and it prevents heating of the glass, which makes it easier to clean after cooking. Just make sure you don't push it to its limits like I'm doing. The description states that you should not use this with an induction diffuser plate like im doing in my picture, but there are ways to make it work. Pictured is a bellman stovetop milk steamer on an induction adapter plate, on top of this mat. On high power, the steel induction plate will burn this mat because apparently it gets over 500 degrees. So the solution is to use a lower power setting. After I figured that out, I am happy with the setup. The steamer heats up just fine on the lower setting It's also worth noting: this mat has the highest heat rating compared to other silicone-only ones on the market

Great!
Wish I’d known about these mats sooner! Had been pretty hesitant and cautious about using my new GE induction range because I was afraid of scratching the cooktop. These mats work perfectly and are a game changer! Thank you Lazy K!

Utilizing a cast iron pot for pepper chicken (my 1st test) proved successful, with the cooktop mat remaining intact and undamaged. The 'LAZY K' cooktop mat was a sound investment, effectively preventing scratches and grease transfer from the pan to the induction hob. Post-cooking cleanup was significantly reduced, and the mat also prevented the pot from shifting on the smooth induction surface. Important safety considerations: Do not exceed the mat's maximum heat resistance of 480°F (248°C) when using cast iron cookware, and avoid prolonged use on high heat settings..

This has been great for keeping our cast iron wok from scratching our glass induction cooktop. We've had it for about a year now; works great and no discernible effect on heating rate or cooking efficacy.
