A&A 15" Magnetic Wooden Chess Set, Handmade 3" King Height Staunton Chess Pieces with 2 Extra Queens, Folding Portable Travel Game Set

After about a month of playing and many games, I can confidently say that I am extremely happy with this chessboard. The pieces are heavy enough to give the impression of a high-end item. The magnets are just the right strength to hold the pieces even if they are bumped or if you need to move the chessboard. Not too fancy but all that you need. The board lays flat on the table and the rounded edges and smooth wood on the playing surface would make you guess this is a much more expensive item. The pieces are a little rough around the inner lines but it really gives them a handmade feel. I would definitely buy this item again and suggest it to any friends who are not looking for a showpiece.

A nice set, reasonably priced.

This is a well-made chess set with nice wood finish and good playing quality. The pieces feel solid and the board has a professional look. One design consideration for future versions: the protective stickers that come on the board use very strong adhesive that can be tricky to remove cleanly from the wood surface. A gentler adhesive or different protective material would be an improvement. Overall, it’s a quality set that I’m happy with for the price point.

I can tell these are legitimately hand carved peices. The magnets are strong and make it very pleasing to move your pieces

This is the first chess board I've purchased in a long time, and it's a great set. Would definitely recommend to others, and would repurchase. Pros: -looks wonderful with the walnut finish -sturdy hinges/clasps -large size -foldable -piece storage inside folded board Cons: -you have to remove ALL pieces to play the game on a flat surface. This includes the checkers pieces. -the pieces are too light. I know they aren't supposed to be weighted, but I hoped a set with a 3" king would be heavier. -not perfectly manufactured/machines pieces. The bases of the pieces are not all perfectly round. They are mostly fine, but a few pieces are just slightly not circular upon very close inspection. If this seller would make this same set magnetized, it would be just about perfect even with the cons. I did break a single pawn (totally my own fault), and would like to replace it somehow so here's to hoping the seller will reach out to me and send me a new piece.

Great quality for the money. I have a young son who’s is learning to play, so the addition of the grid stickers was a nice touch to add if you wish to ( I have) a great size too! Looks solid, pieces are nicely made, and will last a long time if well looked after. Would love a sleeve or case for it, but again for the money I have no complaints

So i was checking the same product on amazon ksa but a different version was shown as available here, fhe one with the black pieces and non magnetic. So i chose to order the one here from amazon. Com , still had questions whether this version will be magnetic or not, But just want to clarify the 3 things why i loved this board 1. It is in fact magnetic 2. The pieces are dark wood stained instead of being black ( because i think these look more aesthetic and have better visibility on the board imo) 3. The long notation stickers are included ( which was one of my minor concerns because as a beginner i wanted to read chess books while the board was set up and having the option of notation stickers included was a huge pkus point for me) A slight disappointment was that when laid flat the two halves of the board are not flush with each other and there is quite a bumo in the middle. But i do realize this might be the issue with just the one board that i received. Overall would highly recommend this set, even more so since the pieces are beautifully crafted. Its not perfect but wayyy better than the very cheap options
