Great membrane! Purchase the 50 and not the 75 GPD. See my story below about 75 GPD. I Purchased the 75GPD membrane as a replacement for the 50 GPD membrane from my original Ispring RO system thinking it would give higher flow. Original system with 50GPD was reading 20 to 40 parts per million (ppm)for my water for about 8 months (good), then went above 50 ppm. The 75 GPD replacement membrane never made it below 70 ppm. I contacted Ispring and they were very nice and sent a replacement 75 gpd membrane, this one did no better than the first 75 GPD membrane. Ispring said that my RO system probably had a crack. After dealing with this bad memebrane I decided to purchase the 50 GPD membrane that came with original system. After I installed it my water was back to 20 to 30 ppm. I recommend that you purchase the 50 GPD not the 75 something is wrong with the 75 GPD construction. Also buy yourself a Total Dissolved solids meter for $15 to make sure your RO is maintaining 0 to 50 ppm.

I've had an iSpring filter system in my house for several years and I am very happy with this product. Not only do I get clean drinking water, but I am happy to know I'm helping the environment too! Recently, I needed to change the filters (and although the process was straightforward), I needed some additional help with parts (yes, I did this myself because you really do not need a plumber) and so I reached out to their customer service. Nick was a great help and helped ship me the correct parts to maintain my system. This is a great way to have fresh, clean water coupled with great customer service too!

I've been very happy with my iSpring RO system. I change the filters at the recommended intervals and enjoy great tasting chlorine free water at a fraction of the cost of bottled water. Get one of these systems and enjoy!

Improves my water immensely. My TDS meter dropped the tap water from 117 to 7 parts per million. While only only measure of water purity, it's still an impressive drop.

Sometimes the water out of my tap tastes like metal. Sometimes its pink. It always smells and tastes like chlorine. After going through my RO machine (also iSpring), it just tastes like plain old water, which is exactly what I wanted. I did bypass the charcoal filter that comes AFTER this one in my unit and the water tastes much better.

We have a well which is why we have an RO system for drinking water. Normally we expect close to 24 months before we have to change filters. That is a long time but we have two whole house filters on the incoming well water and a water softener. Our well water is very clean so we shouldn't have to replace the RO filter in less than a year.

For the past several years, I have used iSpring filters in my RO system. When it came time to replace the membrane, I made sure to purchase one from iSpring. As a novice who had not replaced the membrane before, I emailed iSpring for help and Francis helped me out and answered all my questions. The customer service has always exceeded expectations!
