Black Wild Rice

I have purchased multiple times and have never had anything other than quality rice when I rinse it. Cooks up as expected(don’t expect it to be like white rice) and delicious taste!

Wild rice is not rice... just called that... but one uses it as tho rice. The grains look uniformly long and not mixed with anything else. Good quality. The cooking time is a bit longer than rice, and a bit more water than regular rice. Works fine in my automatic rice cooker pot.I mix 1/3 cup each of this along with brown and black rice. A healthy slow slow-digested mix. This is my second order, and I am pleased.

I have a Freezer Recipe that calls for Wild Rice, RAW, and purchased this just for that. With a professional chef testing the ingredients for me ahead of time, and trusting her judgement to make a delicious family dinner, I threw the measured amount into the crockpot and began the meal. This rice is fresh and flavorful, adding a touch of restaurant quality to my meal. I am extremely pleased by its ease of preparation, flavor, and quality it adds to a meal. Absorbing the flavors of the spices used in the recipe, it is an excellent addition to pantry.

Loved it ,I was looking for a good brand of Wild rice and I found it.It tastes so good.Reasonable price.I will buy again ,I have it on subscribe and save.

Once it's cooked it's great tasting rice...but, it takes a long time to cook.

My mom’s wild rice recipe was a family favorite … wild rice mixed with sautéed shallots, diced mushrooms, and bacon. Like all great cooks who don’t share their recipes, she would never tell me where she bought her wild rice. So I’ve been reduced to buying mine on Amazon. I tried this brand recently and was pleased with the results. Unlike a lot of “mixed” products, this is pure wild rice. Cooked to the right texture — using beef stock, not water — it is tender and flavorful. My mom would approve.
