Small and mighty
Picked this up to help diagnose two outlets that weren't working. Told me I had an issue with a negative wire, pulled the outlet out and sure enough, the wire had popped off. The tool was 100% spot on in diagnosing the issue. Its compact, cheap, and works. Can't get better than that.

Safe alternative to shock
Works as it should, would rather find bad receptacle this way opposed to shocking experience.

Great Value! Extremely Useful for DIYers!
One of the best and easiest to use electric test devices I have ever had. Better than previous version with the ground-fault circuit tester, I keep it handy for trouble shooting.

Good product!
Very easy to use. Gives you a general overview of how your outlets are wired. Does not take the place of more sophisticated (and expensive) receptacle testers or an assessment by a qualified electrician, however

Life-Saver Around the House – Found a Dangerous Fault!
I'm no electrician, but I wanted to make sure everything was safe around my home. Got this Receptacle Tester, and boy, did it come in handy! Found a bad GFCI next to my sink that could've ended up being really dangerous. I only use this thing once a year or so to test stuff, but it's worth every penny. The chart on it was super helpful – made it easy for me to figure out what was wrong. Build quality seems solid too. I'm giving this 4+ stars. Honestly, for the peace of mind, you can't beat it.

Simple to Use - Not Too Expensive
I purchased this based on a YT review. No issues, no complaints, no second thoughts. I've never owned one of these, so I went with the slightly cheaper version. Works great. One of those tools you don't use all the time, but very nice to have when you need it.

Great little tester
Klein has a better one for a few more bucks, but IIRC that one required a battery for it's nifty display. So you could count on that battery being dead at some future point when you find yourself needing an Outlet Tester. Sometimes simpler is better. For less than $15, toss this in your kit and it will beready when you need it.

Easy to use, works well, and is accurate. Handy tool to have and inexpensive enough to keep in a tool box for when / if it is required. Feels sturdy and well built, I have not had any issues with the quality of the tool.
