Good paté, no complaints, I will buy again.
I like this paté, likely, you will too. Let's begin with this; This is canned paté. It's shelf-stable, lasts for months or years, can handle tough transportation, and doesn't need to be refrigerated. As such, it is a completely different thing than what you ate in Paris on vacation, or found in the local bar in Provence, or ate on your picnic in Burgundy. Yes, that paté was better, it also isn't industrially made, it is made locally, and needs refrigeration and careful handling. Confusing the two says a lot more about you than it does about the paté. With that out of the way, I like this canned paté. I think it is quite tasty for the price. I think the quality is good for tinned paté, the flavor is mild with only a hint of liver, the texture is that a fine force-meat, very spreadable. The texture seems to be an issue for some people. They should read the product details more closely. This is a very fine grind, about as small as you can get, so imagine a meat butter. It spreads easily and it will never be like a French country paté. That said, the flavor is very subtle (perhaps a bit too subtle) and the liver flavor is very mild. If you are trying to convert a kid into a liver fan, this might be the place to start. There are two servings in can (IMHO). I had it on toast with a light dusting of butter, dijon, dill pickles, sweet onion, and cracked black pepper. It was excellent. This would also make a great Bahn-mi addition. There's absolutely nothing objectionable about the taste, other than its in-objectionable nature (again, it's very mild). Anyway, if you know what you are getting, you will not be disappointed in this paté. This is a style in Croatia. If you expect the course grind, head cheese style of paté you might find in a café, this is not your jam, look else where. If you want a tasty, fine-grind, paste to take camping or whip up a quick and easy lunch from your pantry, this paté is really solid. If you prefer the chunkier style, I recommend Henaff. I think it is a good deal for the price. I think if you read the ad and a review or two, you'll know the taste and texture, which I think will work well for most people.

Too runny
I grew up on this pate as a kid in my country of origin. It used to be thick, with strong and tasty liver flavor. This looks completely different , and tastes oddly and cheap.

Disappointing
This Pate has a loose and fatty, gritty texture. I was not impressed. I expect a consistency that is firmer.
