So glad I purchased this map. It was so helpful in getting around Savannah. Made it easier to find all the historical sites we wanted to see.

You’ll wish you had this before planning a trip to Bonaventure Cemetery. Great, accurate info to map out your walking tour. You can buy this map in town for $2 less but under very limited availability. But you won’t have time to read all the extras details on the spot. Do yourself a favor and get this well before your trip. I took a jam-packed, in-depth 2+ hour guided tour of the cemetery with one of the people who helped comprise this map. Still didn't cover most sites on this map. However, it's a great overall source for the essentials.

Think of Bonaventure Cemetery as a jungle of headstones with dizzying avenues, roads, and these days, not much help from the office (COVID-19). As Bonaventure Cemetery's longest running tour operator, my staple comment to a visitor is pretty much this, You have three options. A freebie map that is a nightmare, a donation map guide that is a step up and helps the cemetery or you've The Bonaventure Illustrated Map which is a total picture item with great historical facts and a large portion of the purchase price goes to the cemetery itself. And these old cemeteries need all of the help they can get and you get to help by buying this map and the map will help you in the best ways possible!

I made a mistake a few years ago .i went to beautiful Bonaventure Cemetery without a map. .Tho i found my way, it would have been a much better experience with this great map ..I love cemeteries i even love them better with a map...Do yourself a favor GET THIS MAP..its so great it list everything to help u on your journey..Happy Stompin ...

This is a great map filled with tons of information about this cemetery - one of the most beautiful in the nation! If you are going to Savannah, be sure to visit this cemetery! You can take a guided tour - but you will not need to spend the money when you have this map!

I've visited Bonaventure twice, and this map is excellent for following my route through the cemetery, matching it with the pictures I took. There's a lot of the cemetery I missed and it's easy to see the path I took in my wanderings. Even though tiny, the drawings are detailed enough to recognize the monuments, and a lot of interesting information is noted around the border. I'd recommend getting this map before you visit, or after!
