Easy to install
Very nicely made and looks sharp on the shifter. Unless you look extremely closely no one can tell it is an overlay and not direct fit of the cover. The edges are smooth and don't cut your hand while holding or shifting. Only thing you will need is an alcohol wipe, clean the surface, give it a moment to dry, peal the double stick tape and slip over the shifter. Done.

looks good, feels a bit weird
Looks good, but when I grab the gear shifter, I can feel the edge of the cover. It's uncomfortable.

Nice carbon fiber shifter piece
A nice little piece to touch up some details on the interior, high quality carbon fiber looks great on the shifter. Very good price and quality.

Good Enough
Cutting to the chase, it looks great and fits poorly. Used this to cover a shattered gear shifter. By design, it is literally taped on top of your shifter and you are reminded of that every time you change gears. If my car was a manual or if I made habit of resting my hand on the shifter, this would have been returned the next day. But…it’s either this or a new shifter at BMW pricing.

Does not fit the gear shift knob very well around the edges.

Not the right fit. Dimensions wrong. Does not fit the G20 BMW gear box side panel. And its plastic not real Carbon fiber. Just CF design on plastic
