I wait until it's dry and re-wet is a tiny bit to smooth out. I apply a very dark concealer over it, blend it out some, and the use my regular concealer all over. It worked well, AND it's been a major help with my HORRIBLE cystic acne. I basically use it all the time, after cleaning it goes on. I put it on an old scar that left a bad scar, and it's even helping with that. You'll have to play around with it initially but it works.
