This is the first time trying Basmati rice. The lemon and cilantro choice isn’t bad at all. It’s not overpowering but blends well. This is long grain rice, and texture isn’t too dry nor too moist. The portion can be used for two meals. Good with soft eggs! Convenient and heats up quick.

I use this in a special recipe. Good flavor and just the right amount.

Ordered these four-packs for myself and each of my two sisters in different states. We'd grown up on Royal brand products, but they'd vanished years ago. So when I saw these Royal ready to heat Cilantro Lime rice packs, I thought they looked pricey but fun/interesting..? So long story short is that we all not only got single bags (instead of the advertised four-packs), but each of us in different parts of the country got bags with an identical 10/26/21 expiration date (nearly three months past). I have to wonder what happened in the Amazon supply chain that allowed this nonsense to be sold to consumers? Someone somewhere should recognize the difference between 4 bags and 1 bag (even if just by shipping weight), and OBVIOUSLY they shouldn't be selling outdated perishables to customers... My sisters tossed theirs to the trash, but I was excited and decided to risk it and try mine... Nice light mellow Cilantro Lime flavor! A shame I'll never order it again...

The use by date is too close to the time of purchase. I don't use it every week, so I would prefer to have a longer window of time to use. The flavor is good, but it has large clumps. I followed instructions to massage the package before cooking and the clumps have been a problem with every package. I decided to take a second chance and purchased it again. Same problem as before, hard clumps and a 2 month window to use. I have purchased other flavors in this brand without these issues. I will Not but the cilantro like again.

We found this rice at our local supermarket and liked it immensely. They no longer carry it, so we were thrilled to see that Amazon had it. But the price is crazy! Now its become a splurge item for special occasions.
