This is a well made solid hole saw that works great. Thr Arbor is robust and attaches to the cutter very effectively. Well worth the money.

So far, I have only needed it for one cut. It did an excellent job on the one cut. Can’t beat the price for household use. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is out of suspecting that it may not stand the test of time, but I can’t confirm that. Worked super well for our purposes.

Turned out that I didn't need this item, but it appears to be so well made that I decided not to return it.

We use this hole saw to cut speaker holes in ceiling tiles to make sure they were perfectly circular and centered. This also has a lot of weight to it so you actually have to use the drill in reverse so the torque doesn't send it flying and scorching or scraping drywall or ceiling tiles. Do NOT use this on stucco. It will destroy the teeth on the hole saw. We use this hole saw for almost 2 years before it had to be replaced. Because I was stupid and used it on stucco. It's great for the price.

I purchased this kit for an upcoming job. when I went to use it the saw it wasn't cutting at all. I checked the pilot bit to find it was not spinning. The set screw was not engaged with the pilot. At further inspection I discovered that the set screw hole was not bored deep enough for the set screw to go through and tighten the pilot bit, rendering the entire kit useless. The kit was 2 days past the return date so now I was stuck with it. I had to stop what I was doing and go to the home center to buy an arbor that would fit the whole saw. The arbor cost more than the whole kit. But if I was going to get any use out of the whole saw I had to do it. fortunately I will be able to use the arbor on other "real" whole saws. When I finally got it working the whole saw was of a low quality and I was barely able to drill one hole into a rim joist. I do not recommend this product.

the blade was purchased to cut 1/2 sheet rock for ceiling recessed lights. The saw worked as it should and i am very pleased with it.
