Amazinggggg! The first nail foil transfer set i ordered came from like Meerka or some crap and it came with the foil sheets as well as glue... well I couldn't get even a tiny bit of it corectly! I almost gave up but then I saw reviews on YouTube explaining the best foil glues. So I ordered this one and BAM! Now I get dang near perfect transfers every time! I will ALWAYS order beetles everything from here on out. I've also used Beetles top coat gel and their foundation base coat! They all work GREAT! (One important thing I've learned myself, is all the reviews said for the glue, to apply a thin layer then cure it in the UV lamp. What I found works for me is actually a decently thick lqyer... I go over it quite a few times to ensure there were no missed spots and then I cure it in my UV lamp that I also got here on Amazon for 2 minutes! A lot of it has to do with quality of the products, (in my opinion and experience) using a nice decently thick layer of Beetles glue and how long you cure it for. What I did to find what works for me, is use a foil transfer sheet I didn't really like or care for and test it all out! I tried a thin layer but the transfers kept coming out very messy and spotty. So then I started using a nice thicker layer. I also tested it all with my UV light. I tried curing with 30 secs, HORRIBLE. Then I did 1 minute, still not good. I then tried 2 mins which ended woking AMAZINGLY! I am super happy and will only be using Beetles foil transfer glue/ base & top coats (nd anything else by them i haven't come across yet lol). GEEAT DEAL!

I haven’t used the matte top coat yet, but I have friends who do use it. What I hear from them is it isn’t the greatest. It flakes and peels after a few times of washing your hands. The base coat in my package was awful. It takes more than 6 rounds of 90 seconds under a 48 watt nail lamp. I did check to see if the 48 wattage is the recommended wattage for this polish on the beetles official website and it is. Now, my same friend who has experience with the matte top coat informed me that her base coat is fantastic and does not give her problems like mine does. It is very possible that I just got a bad batch. The top coat is a 10/10. I love it! The longevity is phenomenal. I work in a warehouse, so I’m very hands on at all times, and constantly washing my hands. I recommend buying the top coat by itself, from my personal experience. Take this review with a grain of salt! I’m still a huge fan of this brand.

I cannot say enough about this product. First, I am so extremely happy that I finally found a product that looks good and that I can do at home AND save money. Secondly, it looks amazing, and I will most likely never go to the nail salon again. Maybe just for a pedicure, which I can do with this too. Third, your nails will look professional and well done. No way in comparison to dip. I purchased the light pink builder gel. Then realized that I needed the base, top coat and lamp. Which all of these items are so very inexpensive. Be patient with this process. It takes a couple times to get it just right. One thing I have found to be helpful is, a little builder gel goes a long way. Also keep a cuticle stick close by, to clean up around the cuticle in case your gel starts to go over. Again, I cannot stress enough. Just use a little drop. That’s where I made most of my mistakes. Using too much. Also, base coat then cure, builder gel a small drop, it’s self settling so if you need to add more you can, then cure again. Then the top coat. That’s where the magic happens. 😊☺️😊 A shiny top coat that looks so professional, then cure. Then your nails will be dry to touch. Up until then? Don’t touch, or you’ll have a sticky mess. Sorry so long, it’s actually a very quick process. I LOVE IT!!!

But I would absolutely recommend and absolutely buy any “Beetles” product again and again! Highly impressed by this inexpensive product and brand! Definitely worth it and I think it’s actually better by far than the more expensive products that are available to do the exact same thing, but fall flat and short comparatively! The shiny finish is exactly that high shine, and matte finish is matte. I’m beyond happy.

Easy to apply, must use led lamp

I bought this Beetles duo in smaller bottles for the ease and convenience of using less storage space. I did not, however, expect it not to have inferior durability to that in the larger sized containers. I wrap my nails at home, and put a clear coat of gel over the wraps, that is cured with a UV light, to enhance their durability. However, after only a few days, this gel peeled off the wraps like a piece of tape. This has never happened to me using Beetles gel before. In any case, I would not recommend this particular product if you are seeking to make your manicure last longer with a gel cured with a UV light, as it did not last very long.
