Although it is somewhat messy to use this product, it is fantastic at getting heavy foundation and/or waterproof mascara off. You have to let it sit while massaging it into your face in order to get the makeup off but it is worth it since it actually does a great job at removing your stubborn makeup. Additionally, I really appreciate how moisturizing this is and it leaves your skin feeling very soft, replenished, and glowy when you are done. I have sensitive & acne prone skin and this does not break me out or upset my skin in any way. I definitely recommend using a "makeup eraser" type of cloth with this product since it will help you gently wipe away the melted makeup and excess cream as well as gently exfoliate to truly remove all of your makeup. I find that after I use this product I like using a micellar water to remove the tiny bit of mascara still left on my eyes and then I have a completely clean face for the night.

Ponds has been around for a very long time and is still quite popular which is a huge statement about this product. I personally was a a little bit skeptical on using it because I have pretty oily and live in the desert 🏜. I have spent lots of money on skin cleansers and exfoliating products in the past which tend to dry me out and then I have to buy a moisturizer too. I decided to give ponds a try and low and behold, it is great stuff! My pores don’t get clogged and skin is soft, feels and looks great. I wish I would’ve started using ponds years ago! Bonus is that it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than all those other products and I can cut down on my routine too! Thanks Ponds!

My jawline area is plagued with horrible hyperpigmentation due to treatments of electrolysis that didn't go too great. I also have acne scarring from my teenage years. Because of these flaws, I like to wear concealer topped with foundation in that area, which can be a death sentence for my pores if I don't fully clean them at the end of the day. I've tried a lot of different products, but PONDS Cold Cream Cleanser is great--and for the price, it can't be beat! I use some cheap generic makeup wipes that I get from a local drugstore and wipe my face down a bit with it, then slather my face with PONDS Cold Cream Cleanser afterward. I gently massage it into my problematic areas, and take a soft, wet towel to wipe off what makeup remains on my face. Afterward, I follow up with my face wash, and moisturize. This stuff is great. I've yet to encounter a product it can't remove, whether it's some drugstore makeup or more high end stuff from Sephora. It takes off my waterproof Stila eyeliner with as much ease as the expensive "waterproof eye makeup remover" that I bought from Sephora. I'd also like to point out that I have really sensitive skin and this stuff hasn't broke me out at all. If anything, it's greatly decreased the amount of breakouts I've had. Now I only get the occasional pimple and it's always around shark week. All in all, I definitely recommend!

Pond's cleansing cream is an old school favorite that does the trick every time! I wear makeup daily and it is important for me to remove it promptly when I get home (or cystic acne will be in my future). I dip my cotton cosmetic rounds into the jar of PONDS and watch the magic happen. The makeup comes off effortlessly. I like to do this before I wash my face with foaming cleanser because I have oily skin and the double cleaning works best for my skin type. I follow this routine with a pore reducing toner.

After using neutrogena makeup removal towelettes, I use Ponds and a dry textured washcloth to get any remaining foundation or makeup that the towelettes did not remove. It works great. It also serves a base coat before I begin applying all of my night time moisturizers. Great scent and this particualr one comes in a large tub that will last awhile. The mistake people make with cold cream is they think you need to slab it on thick. You do not. You only need a clear coating on your face to moisturize, cleanse, remove makeup, etc. Softens the skin and leaves it feeling refreshed.

Arrived in a sealed plastic bag. Smell and texture were as expected. Love the larger size and the way it makes my skin feel. Pricey, found lower price at local store.

I have been using Ponds Cold Cream for years. I am 65 and always get compliments on my lack of wrinkles and my complexion. I truly believe is due to Ponds. It’s gentle on your skin and leaves it soft and moisturized. Start young! Start using Ponds!

This cream is a great makeup remover, especially for waterproof mascara. It leaves your skin feeling smooth.

This item was purchased for my husband. He has been using Ponds Cold Cream since he was a young man in India. For awhile we were not able to get the product in the stores in Canada, they discontinued carrying it so I was pleased we could order it from Amazon.
