OF COURSE it doesn't really taste like cheddar cheese. (What's wrong with you people?)
For anyone who likes taking things way too literally: THIS DOESN'T ACTUALLY TASTE LIKE CHEDDAR CHEESE. It's not supposed to! It's supposed to taste like that delicious orange popcorn that always disappears first from those holiday tins. And this is a very close match! Stuff is tasty! I'm too lazy to toss my popcorn in oil to make it stick, but discovered that layering it, lightly spraying with butter-flavored cooking spray, then powdering it works the easiest for me. When the bown is full, stir it a little and you're good to go. My girflriend turned her nose up at it when I was making it, then wouldn't keep her hand out of my bowl after I sat next to her. I finally got up and made a second bowl for us to share. I have NFC what is in this stuff, nor do I want to know. I just know it tastes good and makese me happy.

Did NOT like the taste.
I did not like the taste of this stuff at all. To me it tasted of “chemicals” rather than cheddar cheese. I absolutely would not purchase it again. Having said the above, I acknowledge that everyone tastes things differently and perhaps this is just a “me” thing.

Yuck. We did not like this.
Very disappointed. We did not like this. Something is off with the taste. Consistency is almost too powdery. It doesn't taste like cheddar cheese flavor that you might expect or like other review's have described. It's not like the tin orange cheese popcorn flavoring. It's just a weird taste. We will probably end up throwing away a full jar. We accidentally ordered 2 due to shipping delays, so maybe the other jar will taste better. If so we'll modify this review. Otherwise save yourself some aggravation and skip buying this product.
