This is great for healing skin treatments. I've used it on my tattoos that I am getting laser treated and it works well, just don't use too much or you may break out. One tube has lasted me several months. I think this is a good price point for what you get.

Post-ankle surgery, the skin on my foot became thick and leathery. I was horrified at how it peeled off in little pieces. Despite not being a fan of ointments, I read the reviews for this product, and they were so good that I ordered some, and gently rubbed it into my foot at night. Within a week or two, most of the "leather" on my foot peeled off and my feet began to look pink and healthy, better than they had before surgery. There was no sting or smell and a little went a long way. A couple of months ago, I had more surgery on my foot and when I removed the ace bandage post-op, my foot was very dry again. The Aquaphor ointment is already fixing that. It's not expensive at all, and it works extremely well. What more can I ask for? If you have very dry skin, try this ointment. I found it amazingly effective.

I have a leg wound and switch between this and vaseline,i like how this one is more firm and easier to spread than vaseline but it costs twice as much >_< itll keep you moisturized for at least 12 hours with decent coverage.The amount you get,i can use this for a week or a jar of vaseline lasts 3-4 weeks,but if you have a wound youre worried about id recommend this,sold at walmart if you cant wait.

This is REALLY good stuff. The active ingredient is gentle, but brings a little heat via blood flow to the surface of the skin. And that where the healing begins! I am using this for Lymphedema bubbles, or lymphatic fluid creating bubbles on the shins of my leg. I will be using this every night after I remove my compression socks at night. Then in the morning I will wash my legs with Dove Sensitive Skin to get enough of it off as to not damage the socks. My skin is still moist and healing...

A truly excellent product! A student bought this as a present, ＆ I haven't stopped using it since. Amazing, really does what it says. Intensive relief for winter cracks, broken skin, etc.
