After 7 years of day to day use the left speaker failed. I replaced both speakers and battery during the same time. Make sure when disconnecting the speaker connecting a to lift them up, not sliding out! I almost broke our connections, whoops. The new speakers are good, but not the same audio quality as our original Apple speakers. For the price that you pay you should not complain, therefor the 5star. Overall very satisfied with the purchase and would recommend these if your current speakers are blown.
