This dollar 4 dollar the best knife you can buy! GURANTEED!
This is by FAR the best knife I have ever bought or owned! WARNING: This knife is absolutely perfect for you if you have medium to small size hands, if you have large hands then unfortunately for you, this is not going to fit very comfortably in your hand! Otherwise this gets a 6 out of 5 for me! And the price is absolutely a steal! I am literally buying a second one right now cuz I love mine so much, just so I can have one for each hand! Lol! I am a huge knife collector, I absolutely love knives and I buy cheap ones from mtech, black legion etc. for under $10 all the way up to $100 plus range. And I have to say by far this is my favorite knife! Its is solid, light weight, sharp as hell, and comes with an amazing solid top of the line sheath! My only, literally ONLY issue with anything about this knife is the fact that the sheath does not come equipped or with a belt option BUT! They do sell a belt attachment separately for only $8 to 10, that I strongly recommend getting with this! It could not be made any better otherwise! Perfect length for good concealment but at the same time long enough to cause some critical damage to someone or something! I ALWAYS have my double agent on me or withing reach, it is without question my go to knife for everything! You will not be sorry for buying this absolute gem! This knife alone has made me a huge cold steel fan, and convinced me to try some of their other knives as well! Cold Steel may just be my favorite brand period!

Tacticly effective. Here's how to wear it
There are many lovely, expensive knives on the market that you could wax poetic about. This isn't one of them. The grip is plastic, the case is plastic, and I found a little rust on the blade after taking it with me into a campground shower. However, when it comes to self-defense weapons, there is always the issue of weighing a weapon's usefulness to you against the danger of it being taken and turned against you. I don't foresee that happening here. When this thing is in your hand, it stays in your hand. The grip is absolutely deadly. PROS: 1. The grip. 2. The price. It is very affordable. I don't worry about taking it everywhere with me, I don't worry about water, because it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Its value is in being able to have it with you, not having it safe at home where it can't help you if you should need it. 3. The secrecy. The blade is large enough to do serious damage, yet can be easily concealed. Strung on paracord, it is light and comfortable around your neck. After a minute of wearing it, I forget that it's there. 4. Accessibility. Here's how to optimize this knife: Ditch the cheap metal chain that comes with it. Get two feet of paracord. Starting at one end, weave the paracord through all the holes in the sheath, up from the bottom, around the point, and then down the other side, like you're sewing. When you've done that, you'll have lots of paracord left over. It's time to adjust it to the length that you want. The idea is to have the knife pointing upwards as it hangs around your neck, so pull the loop of paracord at the very tip of the sheath into as long of a necklace as feels comfortable for you. You may have to loosen your "stitches" to pull the paracord through. When you've got it at the correct length, tie the paracord ends into knots near where they exit the sheath, cut off the excess cord, and melt the end-knots with a lighter (I pulled the knots out of the sheath a few inches so as not to burn the sheath while I did this, then pulled them back tight against the holes). The advantage of wearing it this way is that, when you need to draw the knife from the sheath, all you need to do is get one hand under the front of your shirt, reach up to find the grips, and yank the knife down and out of the sheath. There's a safety clip on the sheath, but it releases without being pressed if you just pull firmly. Practice doing this one-handed, wearing the knife under your clothes. CONS: 1. Cheap, like I said. If only everything cheap were this well-made. Nothing about its cheapness compromises its safety or functionality. Wipe a little WD-40 every so often onto the metal, for rust. 2. You might forget it's there. Practice drawing it often, so that it becomes instinctual and panic doesn't cause you to forget to use it. Also, don't accidentally wear it to the airport or anywhere security will take it away from you. It would be easy to do. BOTTOM LINE: This knife is awesome. It's there when you need it, and it can be deployed quickly and effectively. Every person who worries about their ability to defend themselves should own something like this.

Low-Stress Crisis Negotiator
I formed an instant personal bond with this knife. The blade has a razor-fine edge and the grip makes it nearly impossible to disarm the user. It disappears into a pocket, it’s light enough for a neck-knife, and a ring-finger or pinky-finger looped through the pommel ring is enough to quick-draw the blade, slip the index finger through the ring at the choil and have a cool crisis negotiator on hand in a flash. No one can take this knife away from you. It becomes part of your body. It’s just as cool in the reverse grip with the index finger through the pommel ring if you feel like swinging the gavel. Hold a Cold Steel Double Agent and instantly experience a new serenity. Given the affordability and value of this piece, I bought a second one right away, just to have a perfect gift for whomever when the time is right. Buy two and give one to your wife. Buy three and give one to your teenage daughter (teach her knife safety, of course).

Gibbs Approved
No knife collection is complete without at least a couple of neckers, or neck knives. They are unique, functional and lamentably, necessary as well. For those who follow Leroy Jethro Gibbs' rule #9 (never go anywhere without a knife) this may not be what he had in mind but I think it would get his seal of approval. I knew this was a winner when my brother saw it, and was reluctant to give it back right away, said something about field testing it. Amazon to the rescue, three days later he got his own. The instant appeal is in the upswept Persian style blade, with dual finger holes. I suppose one could skin a deer and accomplish other chores around the lodge but it is designed solely as a fighter, a last ditch hide-out blade for when the unexpected is in your face. The 3 inch, non-serrated clip point blade is all business with a sleek and professionally sinister look. Designed for maximum grip and retention the double agent is a formidable weapon for self defense. Made to be worn point up under a shirt, you will want to ditch the chain that it comes with and replace it with paracord. Another reviewer posted the perfect tips for lacing up the sheath to a custom fit, complete with pics; and the only thing I can add to that is he suggested that two feet of paracord would do the job, but if you're a big tall fellow you might wanna give yourself two and a half to three feet of paracord just to keep from doing it twice. A final note is that the balance point on this knife is just behind the front finger hole; which from my experience indicates it might be a decent throwing knife as well...double agent, slasher/thrower. Works for me - 5 stars!

Another great knife at a good price from Cold Steel.
WOW! This is a nice piece of steel. It is not high carbon steel but for $30 what do you expect? About equivalent to 440 grade, but raw steel is made in Japan instead of US. Easy to sharpen but dulls quicker than a high carbon steel. Will not rust and there is the trade off with a high carbon steel. Decent all around steel for the price. The blade came very sharp. Typical with Cold Steel knives. I have a medium size hand and it fits well. The blade is on the thin side, fits well against my chest, and is easy to pull out with a little practice. NOTE: The Secure Ex sheath is for right handers but can be used by left handers by using thumb instead of index finger to operate release button. Knife is very secure in sheath and will not fall out until released. While the blade is on the thinner side it is a very solid knife, Cannot tell I am wearing it. Even with a thin t-Shirt, knife cannot be seen from outside. I love the 2 finger holes. Adds some brass knuckle action along with the flesh shredding properties of this blade. Also has a hard knuckle sticking out of the bottom of handle to act as a kubaton. This knife can do damage!

very nice knife
bought this for a neck knife but it was just a little to big for my liking, though it does make an excellent one. overall this knife is amazing, thinking of getting a tek lock and going scout carry as this seems like a great knife for that or even a cross draw knife. no matter how you set it up, as long as you have this on you, no one will take you by surprise without a real issue
