So far so good
Reel is loaded with 30# braid. Using on a Fenwick HMX 7’ H 15 - 30# rod. Took it out tautog fishing at the target ship site in Cape Cod Bay. Had no issues keeping 4 - 5# tautog out of the wreck. Was worried about the 7.1 gearing but that was not an issue. Hope I’m still fishing with it when it’s 12 years old like my Tica spinning reels.

I went to the company website instead of Amazon. Saved a lot.
Fantastic reel. Use it for catfish and can nearly put the bait out as far as my 10ft. Rods. Currently on a musky rod to hit multiple species but it’s a powerhouse. Also great customer service.

it's junk
I used it one time and the drag went out .it also wouldn't cast right and would retrieve line

This reel should be $200+
33lb drag, the power handle is comfortable, and casts jigs with ease! I use it for most of my boat fishing here on west coast and is definitely a bang for your buck, a steal!! Tica has come a long way!

Solid reel
Casts like a dream. Well built, smooth, power drag. I've been using the Titan Claw more often than my Komodo and Lexa. Been using it on the kayak a couple times a week and after several months, it's performing like new with a quick freshwater rinse.
