This seller was very cooperative
I bought this for my son's camera system. Being in the northeast we had to wait until early March to work outside running cat5 and mounting cameras. The unit worked and he had 9 cameras up until last week. Almost two months exactly. Last week I had some time to finish cleaning up the install. We unplugged the switch re-routed the network cable behind everything in the room but when we plugged the switch in it wouldn't turn on. It was working just a few hours before, no storm or anything unusual. I really need a replacement for him and I hope you will provide one. Update: This seller was very cooperative and issued a full refund. It looks like it was just a component failure and that happens. I will be ordering another from this seller as soon as it is in stock again.

Good switch, noisy fan
I have multiple STEAMEMO POE switches, and they have served me well. One switch is outside the house in a utility box, and another is in the garage. My wife gave me a 24GE.POE2SFP switch for inside the house, in a bedroom closet, and the fan is too noisy (over 50 decibels) for in the house. I tried replacing the fan with multiple Noctua fans (5v and 12v), but the fans will not power on. I even tried the fan from a Raspberry PI, but it will not power on. The voltmeter shows there is power. Does anyone know of a quiet fan (under 20bd) that will work in this switch?

Doesn’t last.
Only lasted 2 years. Lost 4 cameras and found out port 10 was dead. Expected better longevity.

Inexpensive, works as expected
I like this 16 port POE switch. It works just as it is intended to, and it’s quite inexpensive. They also provided ears to mount in a 19 inch rack, which was unexpected and really nice. The ears alone will save me $14 or so. I highly recommend the switch for a simple and straightforward network set up at home

So far, so good
I only just put one of these into service. I'm using a pair of these for a camera system at work. I attached 16 cameras, 15 of which are being powered by the switch and are pulling about 6 watts a piece. Everything works, though I won't be implementing the SFP port. I haven't had to test the extension capabilities, though I do have some runs that are 600 foot that are running with it in default mode, so I'm getting the 100mbit on each port for that. In awe of how inexpensive this device is. I'll likely grab an extra or two to keep on hand as a spare. I don't know what kind of longevity to expect from a device this inexpensive, but so far it doesn't feel cheap.
