Really, really impressed.
I have tried to save money on scopes, and have paid the price. This may not be the most expensive thing that Leopold makes, but it is the most accurate scope I have ever used and I could not be more pleased with the results. I am routinely drilling Coke cans at 114 yards with my Ruger 1022. I have heard it said that however much you pay for a rifle, you need to pay more for the scope. I give up, and I agree! This is a great choice for a 1022, and probably would work great on more powerful rifles but I can only speak to my experience thus far.

My favorite scope and I have several.
This is my favorite scope and I have several Leupolds, Vortex and a Swarovski. Lightweight, simple and glass is chrystal clear. Great great value. I'm also a fan of the Creedmoor reticle.

A solid American-Made scope
I must preface by saying I have been a Leupold fan for 20 years. They make stellar optics, all in America. The glass is crystal clear with no distortion. The scope holds its true. It was the perfect budget scope for my budget deer rifle. There are cheaper scopes out there, but they are cheaper in quality. My only caveat with the VX freedom line is that I find it inferior to the VX-1 line is mostly replaced. The turrets don't click as crisply and the magnification turns harder. The texture on the dial helps, but I simply prefer my VX-1 more. The VX-3 and up are all far better, but come at a cost. Happy hunting.

Great scope! Exactly what I wanted.
This is a great scope, I plan to use it for deer hunting. Will update if anything bad comes up, but I just received it today, n the only negative I can say is they could use a bit better packaging, both from Amazon and from Leupold. Too loosey goosey inside the boxes. Otherwise, definitely would recommend the scope and seller.

Great clarity
Just what I'd expect from USA made Leupold, great craftsmanship and product that made my 6.5 Creedmoor more accurate to 500 yards and beyond.
