THIS STUFF FREED ME!!!!
Ladies: Facial sweat sucks, yes?? ...Especially if u want to wear makeup. For me, I swear my body seems to want to expel all of my it's sweat that needs to escape only thru my face. Which, of course, is embarrassing per se.... But, I was so pleased with a discovery I recently made in regards to this issue, that I felt it's only right that I share it with any & all of u that might struggle just the same.... So, I've been trying different facial deodorants recently after I first saw a commercial for Carpé's special all-over deodorants while watching TV last year. So I started with their specailized facial deodorant lotion, but their lil tube($24.95) ran out WAY TOO FAST & the liquid lotion seemed to take forever to dry after applying. I then tried Lumi's whole body deodorant creme($20.44), but I did not like what theirs did to my makeup when applying it on top. Worst of all, both did not do a fantastic job, either. I'd quickly begin to sweat right thru both of them less than an hour after my first application of the day. (Both Carpé & Lumi are available on Amazon & Amazon's prices are what is noted here, but when I purchased I did so directly from their sites.) I thought about this issue some more and realized I made one very silly, elementary mistake: I'm looking to prevent the sweat itself-not odor, especially seeing as my facial sweat doesn't really emit an odor like one's armpits would. So, I ran a revised Google search for a facial antiperspirant versus deodorant & I finally found something that I instantly had the instinct might actually truly work....And it does! At least so far, as it's really only my first day having tried it, but it works so well, I swear I dont believe I'm jumping the gun sharing my thoughts on it now. I was just so excited & had to share... It's called Neat 3B (brand) Face Saver Gel facial *antiperspirant*. They market it to public figure athletes, noting in their product description & even written directly on the tube's label, "For active or Sports People". (Lol, such a weird way to say that, no?). For example, (not that she actually uses or endorses this or any such product in anyway that I know of), but take Serena Williams... Tennis can be a strenuous sport & us women, (I played myself in H.S.), we play it (especially on TV) in cute lil skirts & makeup. This stuff is targeted for people just like her to use. *AND IT WORKS*. It's description also specifically notes that it's OK to use under makeup. The gel gets absorbed quickly & dries smooth, cool & dry to the touch. It even says right on the bottle that it has (facial) "Primer Qualities". There are only 2 downsides I've found at all: 1. The tube I purchased holds only 1.76 oz. & if you're someone like me who more than likely might use this year-long, (in winter my face obv doesn't sweat when I'm outdoors, but the second I step indoors, especially when out shopping at stores in which we usually keep our coats on all while inside stores that keep their heat CRANKED all the way up for whatever reason). So of your like me and gonna be almost a daily user/using pretty much as often as u would wear makeup maybe-that's gonna be gone fast. So I wish they sold a larger tube. And 2. (this is only a downside to those who really gaf which I don't), but it does contain Aluminium Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex Gly...16%, the active ingredient that makes it an antiperspirant as opposed to just a deodorant. I could care less-doesnt cause problems for me as some people express it does for them. Those two "downsides" pale in comparison to how well it works! For the first time in a very long time throughout the second half of my life: I felt cool, relaxed, NORMAL.....Instead of hot, irritated & embarrassed...Walking around with sweat pouring down my face in stores making everyone around me, especially those I end up interacting with like cashiers, look at me like, "This chick looks nervous like she stole something," or "This chick is a hot mess." (Which anyone who might think that when looking at me in that situation is totally justified in such an assumption-completely rational. LOL. To be free of that AND best of all to be able to wear makeup every single day without the fear of melting it all instantly off my face whenever the sweat faucet in my head turns on with an ounce of movement whatsoever = true freedom again. Beautiful thing, trust. I can go back to me again. Truly, thank you, Neat 3B!

Durable, easy to use, but heavily fragranced. Inhibits sweat at least by 50% for me
As a woman who lives in a place so hot and humid that walking for 15 minutes leads to a sweaty face, which is particularly unpleasant when wearing makeup, a solution to help with facial sweat would be a godsend. After using this product several times, for me, the best way so far to use this is after skincare and sunscreen, and before makeup. The silicone-based formula CTS well as a makeup primer, so if you use a primer, this can sub for it. Sweat isn't completely prevented, but what results is maybe 50-70% less than without it, at least for me. As I mentioned, the formula is silicone-y so it glides onto the skin easily and doesn't require a lot of rubbing into the skin. I didn't experience any pilling over my skincare (a mix of Japanese toners, serums by The Ordinary, La Roche Posay Tolerance moisturizer, and Japanese sunscreen), but I do take care to wait a moment between layers to make sure everything is absorbed at each step. If you have oily skin, you probably won't need to boost your moisture products. I have combo skin, and when using this, I need more moisture than I normally would because my cheeks feel noticeably tighter/dry unless I take care to add an extra layer of moisturizing toner (Hada Labo Goku Jyun Premium toner) and a little more generous application of the La Roche Posay. The next thing I will try is night time application of this product on my face after skin care instead of morning application. I normally apply anti perspirant after my night time shower, and protection is quite good the next day. One thing I should note is this product is heavily fragranced, but the smell dissipates enough after 30 minutes to an hour. Also, I need an oil cleanser to wash this off completely. I've also used this to prevent chub rub at my inner thighs on a weekend when wearing shorts, and this worked great for that. It worked well in my armpits as well. I experienced no skin reactivity, either.

It's.....ok.
Let me start by saying that I admit my expectations or hopes for this product may have been a bit high. I do suffer from excessive perspiration or "cranial-facial hyperhydrosis". Mine is brought on by warmth or sudden increases in temperature. My job requires me to be outside most of the time. In the summer, just a short time in the sun under even light exertion would cause a fountain of sweat from my forehead & down my nose. In the winter, after being outside in to cold, walking into even a climate controlled room (68-73*F) would cause the waterworks to start. A co-worker once compared it to condensation on a can or bottle after bringing it out of the refrigerator into a warm room lol. Needless to say, this was embarrassing, as my job has me dealing with the public, and it was difficult to put my best foot forward. Much of the time, I'd be talking to people I'd never met & answering questions. You never get a 2nd chance to make a first impression. So it didn't matter how professional I was, or how much I knew, if I was a hot, sweaty mess & looked like I was about to die, it didn't inspire confidence. On top of that, once the sweating started, my self-consciousness & anxiety about it only made it worse: "am I sweating? Can they see me sweating? Is it more awkward to wipe my face or to just let it run?" I carry paper towels from the men's room in my pocket CONSTANTLY. For whatever reason though, I hate wiping off my sweaty mug in front of people. I'm not sure why; they know I'm sweating, I know I'm sweating, why not just deal with it? I'm telling you, social anxiety is no joke. So that's where this product comes in. Now to be fair, I knew my problem was bad, & I was desperate for a solution. So I also ordered Sweat-Block (which I'll cover in a separate review). Didn't want to pin all my hopes & dreams to one product. Neat 3B Face Saver has been helpful, but it's far from perfect. I will say that it goes on rather smoothly, & dries quickly without much visible trace on the skin. For those that complain that it leaves a residue; you're using too much. I just do a light application after my normal routine in the morning. I usually put it on before I walk out the door. It dries in the car & by the time I get to work, I can put on moisturizer or sunblock. No major issues. But it doesn't last. Maybe that's where my expectations were a little high. I take it with me to work & usually have to apply it again AT LEAST once. Now, it says it lasts "for hours". But that's not real specific. I start work a 6:30. Usually by 10:00, I need a second coat. I haven't had any real issues with blocked/clogged pores or acne. When I do need to reapply, I'll use a facial cleansing cloth (brand name omitted) to the the remaining old product off before reapplying. Pretty simple. The hardest part is staying cool enough to let my face dry from the cleansing, without starting to sweat again, since Face Saver must be applied to dry skin. I WILL say that the combination of Sweat-Block & Face Saver provides the most benefit. For those unfamiliar with Sweat-Block, it's applied in the evening, before bed. But it's not made to be used every day. So, the first day or two after using the Sweat-Block, & the Face Saver every morning, tends to be my best days. All in all, I think this product lived up to it's claims. I think I was hoping for more, & therefore slightly disappointed that it wasn't the miracle I was looking for. But that's not the product's fault. You can't go buy apples & then be upset when you get them home because they're not oranges. ***A word of warning*** Sweating is the body's natural way of cooling itself through evaporation. It's a necessary evil, not just a hassle. I've never been a sweaty guy in any area other than my face/head. That changed when I started using these products. Preventing the sweat from coming out on your face simply creates a dam; it's still got to go SOMEWHERE. I've started sweating in places I've never sweat before; my back (lower back especially, I can feel it trickle down occasionally), feet, legs, palms. I even had droplets of sweat forming & running down my forearms at one point. Now I don't sweat all these other places at once, mind you. These are just the various locations it's popped up at different times. It's a small price to pay in my opinion, & I'd much rather do that since they're places that aren't typically visible. If you're going to try this or any other product to decrease facial sweating, just be aware of this potential consequence.

Definitely works for me!
Doesn’t work perfectly, but DAMN. I sweat a LOT a lot on my face, which can be really awkward when I travel for work. Brought this along, put it on before my makeup (I didn’t use foundation, so I can’t speak to how it works with that). It is a little sticky when applying, but quickly dries up and feels pretty light. I then had a twelve hour day on and off my feet, including being on camera. I only got a few sweat drops on my hairline. I don’t wear it everyday cause I feel like it might dry out my skin (it tends to be drier) but it has helped in humid Southern weather summer outings.

Excellent medical Botox replacement for facial hyperhidrosis!
After learning I wouldn’t be able to get medical Botox anymore for my craniofacial hyperhidrosis, I thought I’d just have to settle with the oral medication treatment that helps a lot with my hands, feet, and underarms, but only partially my face and scalp. Botox was the 2nd component for the 1-2 punch I needed to treat it. But now I have this antiperspirant! It isn’t quite as effective as Botox, but it isn’t going to involve quarterly dermatology appointments or the expense of the treatment, so I’m completely okay with the compromise! I only apply where I need it, the same areas I would have the injections (excluding my scalp) and have gotten about 6 weeks of use so far. It helps that I don’t use it every day, and that such a small amount of product goes a LONG way! I’ve accidentally put too much in/above my eyebrows and had a crusty feeling by the end of the day but I also had been sweating (and moving a lot of heavy things in the mid-August Indiana heat and humidity). Tips/notes: it seems to work best as the first layer of product but my moisturizer applies poorly on top. I may need to wait longer, but the antiperspirant applied after moisturizer works well, too. And I know that I’m getting the full benefit of my SPF30 in said facial moisturizer. Use the teeniest amount- you can always add more! It’s quite comfortable but gives my face a bit of shine. A mattefying setting spray resolves that 😉 There is a mild fragrance that is not off putting to me, but it’s reminiscent of something I can’t identify. Either way, it quickly dissipates as the product dries. Washing your face at the end of the day is easy, and I have been able to do a thorough cleanse both with a proper wash and just wiping my face with micellar water. I have yet to try it with makeup on, but I’m curious to see how the claimed primer qualities will interact with my regular (color-correcting) primer, as well as other makeup items. Overall I am very VERY happy to have stumbled across this, it’s saved my summer AND my wallet and I will continue to use it. My face is saved!!

A Must Have for Me
Neat Feat 3B Face Saver Antiperspirant Gel for Facial Perspiration and Shine, 1.76 Fluid Ounces I will start with...I have hyperhidrosis and it effects my underarms and face. The sun is my nemesis and lets be honest it doesn't have to be warm for me to sweat. I know tmi, but if you are looking at this product its probably because you have this embarrassing problem too. I have dealt with this issue since my teens. This product works for me and I love it. Its not perfect but I will take it. Over the years I have learned a few things on what I can do to help the product work better. This product has helped me feel normal. Best part- I can wear a full face of make up over this product. I put this product to the test and wore a full face with liquid foundation during the summer at 90 degrees. Again, do a little research there is a chance this product can work for you but you may be doing things that are working against you. Pros- the product is clear and dries clear. You are applying too much if you experience flaking. Can be used under makeup. Has not caused any irritation or blemishes. Safe to use on your face, hands, or feet. I did not notice a smell. Cons- Even with my daily morning routine that is geared towards keeping my face from becoming shiny, oily, or sweaty, if it gets warm enough or I am working out yes I will sweat a little bit. More like a sheen or glisten. However, I will say it has reduced my facial sweat drastically. This product is a must have for me from now on. I have recommended this product to other friends who do not necessarily have hyperhidrosis but want to keep their face from becoming an oil slick.

Did not work well for me, scent was awful
So I have major issues with hyperhidrosis on my face and neck, which are made only worse living in the fetid swamp that is Florida during the summer months. I was skeptical about how well something like this would work, but the price of this brand seemed reasonable enough to give it a try. Here are my thoughts about this product based on my experience: 1) Does the product do what it claims? - For me, it slightly reduced the amount of moisture on my face and neck, but really not enough for me to consider it effective. Your mileage may vary, but for me it didn't really do a whole lot. (And yes, I ensured I put it on my face when it was clean and dry, as the bottle instructed) 2) The scent was extremely unpleasant. It spelled like an old lady's perfume, like the Oscar de la Renta stuff my grandmother used to wear. For a man, I'd consider this a total dealbreaker, but I suspect most younger women out there don't want to smell like grandma either. I was honestly baffled as to why a product like this would even need to be scented, given it's just an anti-perspirant. Overall, I would not recommend. For men looking at this, you should definitely steer clear as the scent is extremely feminine and obnoxious.

Helps the sweat but makes a great makeup primer!!!
As I have gotten older and hit menopause, I find that I have become a huge face sweater in the dead of summer in the heat. Huge.. to the point that it is embarrassing to me to be dripping when you are talking to someone. And as a contact lens wearer, the sweat was constantly dripping in my eyes. Anyone who wears contacts knows the havoc that wreaks. So, doing some research online, and I found this here on Amazon. I thought - what the heck, I'll give it a try. I have had this product now for a couple of months and have used it about 10 times - I do not use it daily, only when I know that I will either have a very long day away from home, or when we will be sitting in 90 plus degree heat at the car shows all day long. First off, if does have a scent.... A scent which reminds me of the perfume Chantilly Lace that my grandma used to wear. Men - don't let that deter you... It's not overwhelming and to me, it seems like it goes away after the product dries. At first, as it was drying, it felt like it was tightening my skin, which I thought "Hey, that's a plus!" I applied a thin layer, and I put my makeup on as normal. I did not use my moisturizer before hand, because I didn't want anything to mess with the results of this product. The one thing I did notice, was that applying my makeup felt smoother and I thought "wow - this makes a great primer" This product makes an awesome makeup primer, and I would use it just for that purpose. I find my makeup stays on much much longer than without it. I have even slept (I know, you should never sleep with makeup on) with my makeup on and still had to really wash my face well the next morning just to get my foundation off. For the sweat factor, I agree with the other reviews that say, you can't have a hint of wetness on your face and not even on the verge of sweating before applying. Apply only a thin layer, because when I applied a thicker layer, that is when I too (as others have noted) noticed the white flaking. Also if you have a kinda wet face, you might notice the white flaking too once the product is good and dry and set. It dries quickly, I'd say 60 seconds max. While it doesn't stop the sweat completely, it has certainly made a difference. Now, if I am direct sunlight on a 90 plus degree day, I will still face sweat, but at least it doesn't feel or look like I have just stepped out of the shower. Now, if I can find shade on those 90 plus degree days, I hardly face sweat at all and because it's an awesome primer, my makeup stays put! I would buy this again in a heartbeat. It does work. It does help with the sweat, it won't completely remove it, depending on the conditions you are in, but for me, it has helped.

It works!!!
This product is a holy grail for anyone struggling with facial sweating. I’ve always struggled with my face sweating even in slightest warm temperatures, where everyone in the room would be just fine and I’d be sweating buckets. I also struggle with nervous sweating and it really impacted my confidence at work and in my social life. This product changed that for me. Now I can be in the warmest room and not fear that I’d be profusely sweating. The best way to use this product is to take a tiny drop in your fingers and only apply on your problem area. I tend to sweat more on my forehead and t-zone, hence only dab on these areas with no other product before it would allow the product to work its best. Ideal time to put this into work is night, as it would completely block the sweat glands over night. Another thing which I experienced was dryness which can be managed with gentle face moisturiser. So far after 1 week of daily use I don’t have any complaints.
