myFirst Kids Digital Camera 16MP 1080P with Selfie Lens, LED Flash

I bought this for our 5-year-old and it works really well. there are good points and bad points to the camera. The good points are that it is easy to use and really durable with the included foamy cover. I also like that it has a strap on it so the kids don't drop it too often. The pictures it takes are really nice quality. The battery does last a while and we charge it about once a week. The kids will take the camera out and take pictures several times a day for 20 to 30 minutes so it does get a lot of use. The bad part about the camera is that it is very slow to focus. we've had to teach the kids that they need to keep the camera pointed at the subject for two to three seconds to get a good quality picture. That's really the only bad part about it is the slow focusing. so in general the camera is really really cool and the kids love using it. with the exception of this low focusing it is a really solid camera and works better than I thought it would but it could be improved with a little bit faster focusing. you can disable the autofocus and it does take pictures much faster but all of the pictures need to be landscape type that are pretty far away to be in focus.

This is our daughter’s new favorite thing! We gave this to her at the hospital when baby brother was making his appearance and she is having so much fun taking pictures of everyone. She also didn’t realize that this type of toy needs to be babied and threw it on the ground really hard - it’s totally fine afterwards! We will get lots and lots of use out of this!

UPDATE: They sent me a replacement, but it had the same problem. I'll be buying a different camera now. Don't get this one! I really liked this camera in theory and I chose this one in particular because it didn't come with games or a touchscreen. Our child also loved it. However, within 9 months of purchasing it, the battery no longer holds a charge and is useless. It's extremely disappointing. I've reached out to MyFirst and will update my review depending on if/how they respond.

We just got it at Christmas. My 3 year old grandchild loves it. Perfect size for little hands and easy to use functions. Also easy to send the pictures to a digital frame

This camera takes great photos!

This is very slow, and has a user interface that is confusing for adults, let alone the children it's designed for. A little more thought would have gone a long way, and I would have paid more for faster electronics. Especially at this price, it's hard to recommend this product.

Good product, excellent packing and great functionality

The first camera I had the charging port collapsed inside after about 10 plugins. The second one I have now started freezing and is completely unusable. I liked that this camera had no games on it but it has not held up and the software is obviously buggy. Very disappointed and now I’m a few weeks behind my return window so I’m stuck with this.

Perfect for a first camera. Would prefer there was a way to disable all the filters to begin with though

Doesn’t even turn on, don’t go by the name it’s not from the brand my fist camera, it’s just some cheap toy camera which they ship.

I was looking for a camera that would be practical, fun and easy for children to use. They are the perfect for kids aged 2 to 7. The screen, filters and features are easy to select. And most importantly - it doesn't have any games! So the children can focus, practice and have fun taking different types of pictures - without having any distractions.
