HOW MANY PUZZLES DOES AN 8 OZ BOTTLE WORK ON

I don't know for sure, but I used about 1/4 of the bottle on a 1000 piece puzzle. I did the front the. Flipped it and did the back.

Do you need to purchase a brush for it?

Mod Podge does not come with an applicator of any kind. I would recommend using a foam brush.

Can you use this glue only on the front side of the puzzle? And will it hold up to being hung on the wall?

In my view, you can indeed use this glue on just one side, which I find preferable to chancing leakage through the puzzle if you flip it backside up for a second coat. As I type this I'm looking at a 1000-piece puzzle that my wife and I completed last month, whereupon I Mod-Podged only the front side and, discovering that it was super secure with one well-spread out coat on the front, hung it on the wall in a 20" x 27" (in dimensions) frame. I saw absolutely no reason to glue the backside. BUT, do use ample glue on the front and spread it well so every piece is glued. Hope this helps. Have fun!
