17.25 inches tall or 44cm from feet on base to top of the stand.

What is the distance between the front of the upright pole and the front of the base, please?

From the front of the pole base approx. 15.5cm. The photo looks different to mine in that mine has a larger base at the bottom of the pole with 8 sides I think (cant actually see to count properly)

Can the vertical adjustment be adjusted to anywhere on the metal pole? as my monitor has a tricky vesa spot and I need to put it very low down.
