One of those things where you think you don't need it until you have it. This is for those who feel tightness on their neck, shoulders, upper-lower back. What I like about this is that you can almost place it on the location where you feel muscle tension. The heat takes a couple minutes before you actually start to feel it but it is very nice. I use it before bed for about 15-30 minutes and I go to sleep like a baby. And I've noticed an improvement in my posture. I always see pictures of myself unintentionally hunched but once I used this to massage those muscles out, the tension has been gone and the hunch is gone!

First off I received this item to review. I found it arrived very quickly and was packaged quite well. Surprisingly it came with the unit itself, a wall power supply, and a car power cable, along with a simple but clear instruction book and a soft cover to slip over the unit. I plugged it in and tried it out. At first I thought it was a little small for my frame (6’1” 200lbs) but after using it for a while it seemed like it was actually better at this size as it kept my arms tighter to allow easier pressure. This also allows it to be used by my wife and children. I had a larger one before and it was uncomfortable for them. The massager worked well and had plenty of power. There is a power button, 3 speeds, direction, and heat options on the left arm. They all work well. The heat lights the rollers up red so you know when you have it on. It also heats up nicely without being too hot. The fit and finish of the unit is quite nice with the perforated leatherish material, quilting, colors, and buttons being very attractive. I could find no loose stitches or defects. The only negative I could find was that the direction button not only changes the direction but also causes it to completely stop for a second mid massage and change direction periodically through out. Kinda took me by surprise but once you are used to it it is no big deal. Overall I would say it is a very nice massager that you just can’t beat, especially for the price!!

Oh my goodness. I have needed this for so long. I work in an office on a computer. I've had knots and pain in my shoulders and upper back for the longest time. This massager is so easy to use and is so effective. It releases the knots and makes my muscles more supple. The heat is very comforting. You can use this anywhere you have knots and pain. I am very happy with this product and recommend it.

PROS: I just received my Back & Neck massager from RENPHO last week and it is AMAZING. I've been using it everyday since I got it. I like how you can maneuver it to any part of your body and you can adjust the pressure of it to your likeness by pulling it harder. I work at an office sitting down all day long and I get back pain very frequently, but with this massager the pain is gone. It comes with an automatic 15 minutes TURN-OFF function but I go for second rounds and with the HEAT function, it makes it even better. It also has 3 intensity levels and goes bidirectional after a few minutes or so. I like the fact that it comes with a CAR adapter so you can take it on the road with you. It's a very HIGH QUALITY product made out of really nice fabric/material. It does a great job on the neck, back and waist. CONS: One of the things that I didn't like is that you can not turn off the BIDIRECTIONAL function, it goes a few minutes one way then a few minutes the other way, I wish it came with the option to choose to just go one way or both. The other thing is that it says that you can use it on your legs, calfs, arms and other parts of your body, but honestly I found it uncomfortable trying it on all these other body parts. It doesn't feel right. And lastly, even though it comes with the HEAT option, I think it should be a little warmer. OVERALL I think is a great product for NECK, BACK & WAIST only and with that price, you can't go wrong. Give it a try.

I bought this back in February of 2023. I have fibromyalgia and my neck, shoulders and back were so tense and sore that I was getting very bad tension headaches. This thing really saved me! It took some getting used to, as I am very small. I prop it on a pillow. Lean back and let it do its thing. I am so happy to of found this! It’s now 2025 and I have to buy a new one. I have used this back massager up to 3 times a day for the time I’ve owner it. Sometimes more, because of the fibro flares. This is the best thing I’ve ever bought for myself. Which is why I am going to re purchase it again. I think it has lasted a very long time! I have bought massagers before, they didn’t work as well and definitely didn’t last as long. This feels like a real back massage. This helps me get through the really rough days. I’m a very happy customer!

I didn't know what to expect when I bought for my husband for Christmas. Let me tell you this thing is sturdy! It isn't one of those cheap, flimsy, barely massaging devices. I love deep tissue massages and get a lot of pain in my neck and upper back from working at a desk all day. When I get professional massages I always ask for deep tissue and "as hard as you can possibly massage", then I'm always left disappointed because the massage is never hard enough. This massager is BETTER than any masseuse I've gone too. It really gets in deep to muscles. 100% highly recommend to anyone!

I have been having some pains in my neck and some minor headaches, so I figured I'd try one of these out. I picked it up for about $40 after taxes. I tried it out a few times and it worked alright. I am not super thrilled with it, but I can see why some people may like it. Here's my list of pros and cons that I found with it: Pros: - It seems to work pretty well, mechanically. The heating worked, the rollers did what they were supposed to do, and the controlls all functioned. - The arm straps are nice and comfortable. This helps to hold pressure on the device, but also helped me relax my arms - It comes with a 120v & 12v plug. Personally, I would not use this in the car, but if you are a passenger and don't mind being a little uncomfortable having it around your neck while you sit, this could be a good little device during a long drive. Cons: - It's not super comfortable. I like to sit or lay down while I'm relaxing, which is where I'd really want to use this. This is not comfortable to wear when sitting on a standard couch. I tested laying down and that is a hard no. This wasn't too bad sitting in my office chair where nothing was pushing against it, but I'd liked to have it on when I was relaxing on the couch. - I did not get that massage feeling when wearing it. I'm a pretty thin guy so it could be my boney neck and shoulders. It felt more like someone taking pool balls and pushing against my neck and shoulders. I've used other devices that did not give me that same feeling. This was just a quick overview of the product. I have not used it a whole lot since it seems to hurt more than help, but that could be just me. I've seen others saying theirs has stopped working after a few minutes of use, but mine is still going. I've got an hour or so on it over a few spans. Would I buy this again? This is one product that I would pass on. I think I'd rather have a heating pad or go get a professional massage.

My apologies to all the great chiropractors out there! There are some excellent ones. However, Renpho has hit a home run with this product. I've been a Renpho user for many years of their bathroom scale product and it's been the best available. I was a little hesitant when I saw that they had created a massage device. Especially at Christmas or birthday, it seems that my family and friends think I would enjoy a gadget that mechanically massages stressful areas of ones body. Usually I end up taking them back because they are very mechanical feeling and frankly, many times absolutely hurt. I had pretty much given up on massage devices. So, when I received the Renpho, took at carefully out of the well packed box, plugged it in and put it on my back, I wasn't sure what to do next. Would this hurt? Would it make things worse? Thankful, greater than my expectations it felt exactly like my chiropractor was working on my neck. You know, that relaxing feeling you get when a massage is done well. I've used it for several days now and it's become part of my bed time routine. And, of course, being a technology nerd, my health watch gives me a sleep score. And, I've seen my sleep score improve! Renpho has done it again! Oh, and at least one other of my family members has discovered the comfort of this device and we are now having to schedule time. You won't be disappointed, enjoy this excellent device.

This is amazing! Been debating for ages about purchasing, then after seeing demonstrated on QVC took the plunge. Amazon was less expensive, and another 20% off, free postage plus ordered 10.30pm and it was delivered the next day. Brilliant service. The device itself is well made, sturdy, I was little worried about the weight on my neck but honestly doesn’t feel heavy at all when in use. Love the option of different heat/pressure settings and comfort of use, it feels like someone’s actually massaging my shoulder - I have long term shoulder problems and constant pain - this has helped so much with pain relief. Love the enclosed leaflet showing other body parts it can be used on, would have never thought of calf muscles It’s on my list as one of my best buys
