Seems like a nice button I installed it today for my air horns and it works as it should and led is nice and bright but not to crazy.

These switches looked promising initially, but they failed. The outer portion of this switch is indeed metal. The post of the switch that actually does the switching is plastic. The first switch failed when this plastic broke after a couple of weeks of use. The switch got progressively less and less reliable and then the button just fell off. They come in a 2-pack, so I installed the other switch. It failed after about two hours of use. It worked fine initially and then it simply stopped working. Continuity tester shows infinite resistance when the switch is depressed. Application: controlling a 12V hydraulic diverter valve on my mini-excavator.

I ordered these to use in my boat but did not install them because I made a mistake by ordering momentary contact when I needed maintained action switches. I chose the switches because they are described as being pretty robust and what I received was just as described. In the 12mm size, the button is somewhat difficult to operate and I would recommend a raised head button on this size. I bought the maintained contact switch in the 16 mm size and it is easier to operate and is well built. I expect it will function quite well for my application. Came with clear instructions with illustrations.

Looks nice, feels sturdy, and works great as a power button for a computer in a custom case. The LED lights up beautifully using just the header pins on my motherboard. The cables are a bit short, but that's fine since I needed to add female pin connections anyway.

These work fine for what I need them to do. I didn't wire up the LED ring as my circuit is just completing a ground. Use a 1/2" drill bit to make the hole for it. It is slightly larger than the switch diameter, but the retaining ring will still grab onto the surface fine

Nice buttons

I like the look of these switches. I’m using them to control the lift and lowering of a tonearm via an Arduino.
