Yes, there is a charging CABLE (helpful) and a charging BASE (absolutely needed), but the description specifically says a CHARGER. The manual says connect it to your computer, which will work, but not in the application for which it was purchased. Now, I'll rummage through my box of dongles to see if I have one sufficiently capable enough for this and the 4-pack I purchased at the same time.
