The light bar words stay lit even if the key isnt in. Will this run down battery??

Seems a mix of the answers is the answer. Plug the extra white wire into the No. 6 terminal to make the light bar words light up when the switch is turned on. Plugging the extra red wire into the No. 6 terminal makes the light bar words always stay on. Find a wire that turns on when the ignition switch is turned on and connect it to No. 6 terminal to make the light bar words turn on with "key on".

The ad says it’s good for 300 watts. The instructions say 180 watts. I’m thinking the ad is wrong. 300 watts/12 volts is 25 amps.

The formatting of the specs in the instructions is a little confusing between the 16, 14, and 12 AWG, but it does state that the 14AWG max wattage is 300W.

Will this harness work for 4-wheelers?

There should be no issue with using this kit with any 12 volt system. I installed 1 on a 2004 jeep wj, and it works flawlessly.
