The YSI Pro20 instrument is a handheld dissolved oxygen (DO) and temperature meter with graphical backlit display, glow-in-the-dark keypad, rubber over-mold case, standard connectors, and One Touch Cal feature that calibrates the meter within three seconds. It has on-screen instructions and a selectable language of English, Spanish, French, or German, can store 50 data sets, and has an internal barometer to ensure accuracy. The response time is 95% response in eight seconds with a standard membrane. The meter runs on two alkaline C-cell batteries (included) and is impact-resistant and waterproof, with Ingress Protection 67 (IP67). Additional certifications include Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS), European Conformity (CE), and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE). The meter is designed for field and laboratory use and is compatible with two different cables. (Cables and probes are sold separately.) The field cable is available in various lengths and has a built-in temperature sensor and a port for the DO sensor (polarographic or galvanic).
