I gasped when I opened the box! This is an exquisitely beautiful piece even if it's glass and paint! Simply a beautiful trinket box. It's large, it's graceful, it's quite nice to sit on my bureau with a few other trinket boxes. It seems sturdy. Great value.

Very striking piece with intricate detail! Was larger than expected; body of peacock is about 2 1/2" wide and the tail is 4 1/2" long.

I gave this gift to my mother. She loves peacocks. This was absolutely beautiful. The inside hidden compartment seals very well but is very small. You may be able to put a small ring in it or a think necklace. It was very well made and looked much more beautiful in person than online.

While this item is truly beautiful and well made (for the most part) the one I received is broken. It’s definitely not a shipping issue because it came well packaged. The clasp that holds the little hinged door is broken and the door will not stay shut. As long as the peacock is sitting on something it’s not noticeable but as soon as you pick it up the bottom falls open. It really is a beautiful piece. I just happened to get one that’s broken and it’s too much of a hassle to return.
