Can't see how to install it. The plastic part clearly goes under the ceiling. How does the metal part connect to the plastic part?

The white visible parts twist onto the inner (not visible part) after you have attached the non-visible part to the ducting and screwed it (using 4 screws, and rawlplugs if into plasterboard) to the ceiling

Will this work with an 80 l/s extractor fan, or what is the capacity?

I presume you mean an in-line extractor fan with ~100cm diameter ducting. Then I would say yes. The key to how well it works is the installation . Distance to fan, distance to extraction point, straight lines etc
