A worthy upgrade to the ATEM mini pro!
What a great upgrade to the Atomos Mini Pro. I don't know why I waited so long to upgrade. The Davinci project it creates is the best feature, Saves tons of work in post.

Absoultely AWESOME
I've been in the media production business for 40+ years and I can remember when a Semi truck was used to get the capability on location that this one little box provides. The versatility, capability and sophistication of the ATEM Mini Pro ISO still surprises me a few months after purchasing it. Especially when you add in the capability of the ATEM Control Software. And the fact that it records 4 clean 1080p signal feeds plus the program output, PLUS a Davinci Resolve edited project, with any used media, etc. - Seriously, Amazing. Especially for the price! Sadly, I am about to get rid of my ATEM Mini Pro ISO. Why? Because they just came out with the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO and I need the extra capabilities. But if all you need is 4 or less inputs, and only one media player, you cannot go wrong with this box. Why are you still reading this? Go click "Add to cart!" You'll be glad you did. :-)

ATEM Mini Pro ROCKS
It's great. You do need a computer to unlock so.e of the ISO features. Don't get the third party apps. It's not worth it. Bug Blackmagic Design to create an app for iPad Air and Pro.

Great tool. Two drawbacks
We do a 3-cam + 1 laptop feed in our studio and it is great. Lessons we are learning include: HDMI has a lag and our audio feed has a different lag. We need to set up a delay to match. The 1/8” (3.5mm) audio jacks seem prosumer not pro. We wish there were xlr in’s. We LOVE having the iso files as a failsafe. It allows us a backup protection of our work. Another drawback we have found is that we cannot review footage from the ATEM interface. We have to undock the drive and review on a computer. Not the worst but we do end up doing this about once a day. All in all, for the price, this is a powerhouse of a little machine.

HUGE time saver.
I record DJ performances from my studio and use multiple cameras. This device saves me sooooo much time. I no longer have to download files from my memory cards and sync them. I was already a Davinci Resolve user, and the fact that this creates the Davinci Resolve project file with all the angle switching for me is a huge time saver. Using this has taken my editing time from 4 hours down to about 20 minutes. For someone that puts out a weekly video, it means I'm saving 190 hours per year.

Everything that I need in one small package.
I have been putting together videos of presentations/demonstrations. I started with the ATEM Mini feed into OBS Studio and doing the recording. I do not have the bandwidth for live streaming and my goal was to have MP4 Videos in a library on Google Drive for clients/students to look at. The ATEM Mini pro did not give me a step up. I then started to use Deckling DUO 2 card to record 4 channels - but the problem was had to have multiple instances of Desktop Video and then you had no time sync - you could sync by voice, but some of the POV cameras I used did not have audio. Then it became a manual sync issue in DaVinci Resolve. This ATEM Mini pro ISO gives me everything. I can record all 4 inputs plus the output complete with a Davinci project file that lays out the outputted timeline complete with transotopms and overla;ys. All 4 cameras videos are already time synced and all you need to do is edit the Resolve Project file. This is worth it's weight in gold for me. I can start and stop the recording and if I do not change the name - everything is on the timeline and time stamped. This saves me massive effort and headaches. This gives you a recording capability unmatched anywhere. Now I can focus on editing the video content w/o any grunt work or issues.; The power of this box is in the recording capability. I use Samsung portable SSD's with no issues. My main SSD is the T7 1TB with the 500GB Extreme Rugged drive as my field drive. I copy everything to my storage disk and click on the Resolve Project and everything opens up neatly in Resolve 17.1 Beta 9 that I am running on my Mac M1 Mini. Finally to repeat - this gives someone who wants to record and later edit a presentation or Demonstration everything they need in one affordable package. The streaming capability is a bonus for me that I do not use.

Amazing,
I love the ISO record feature. It is as simple as plug in your drive and click rec. It takes all 4 inputs plus your pgm and organizes it into folders along with an audio ISO record as well. Perfect what I need.

It is nice
nothing to compare this to, but it is a nice way to consolidate video footage while shooting. eliminates all of the editing to splice multiple camera angles. teamed this with the procaster audio interface. needs some improvements, no off button, weird, the audio out needs to be updated from old school RCA jacks. wish the device could function without the computer software, it would be better if it was completely independent of a pc and still had total functionality.
