Black Widow Colouring Pencils 48 Coloured Pencil Set

The set of 48 pencils comes in a attractive tin package with plastic trays. The trays keep the pencils in place while not in use or if your on the move needing to carry them. Pencils them selfs come in the tin but the trays do have a funny chemical smell when you first time open them and disappears after a day or two. Pencils are very nice to use and feel comfortable in the hand. They look great being black barrel and having the the colour of the pencil as the end tip to identify each pencil with a brief description along the barrel colour name and number. They are soft and buttery when using them on the paper. Very easy to blend together and can take a few layers to build colour up. So far I have had no duplicates or Brocken leads yet while using them. The colour palette of the pencils are good for this set and each pencil has a unique name for the colours I found useful and easy to remember. These are good pencils practice with if you are on a budget and need some premium pencils. Can be used for adults for actual art or children and adults colouring books.

Fantastic product delivered quickly, great quality colours, and coverage

I've recently got into adult colouring and have seen other people mention these. I dont have masses of money to spend, but these were much cheaper than most good pencils so I got them to try. I am in love! I bought the Dragon and Monarch sets, and now I want all of the others. They glide on smoothly, are lovely to use and easy to blend and shade. They dont break or crumble when sharpened; they take a point easily. You can make new colours by layering one on top of another. I literally cannot fault them. If like me, you are looking for good quality pencils on a budget you wont be disappointed. I doubt I will bother with other brands.

Good starter set for a beginner. Limited range but you can expand this by purchasing the other sets. They lay down well but when blending they can be a little too waxy for my liking. For someone on a budget and just starting out, these are a good buy.

I bought the Monarch set myself and received the Scorpion, Black Widow, Cobra, and Dark skin/light skin tone sets for my birthday. The Monarch's are mostly pastels anr are definitely my favourite. The Black Widow, Cobra and Scorpion have a different assortment of colours. The light and dark skin tone sets make colouring skin a lot easier! But buying all sets definitely create a comprehensive and unique set of colours (144 pencils in total) and are definitely worth the investment. They are my favourite budget pencils, they blend and layer fabulously and I also love the octagonal barrel which makes gripping the pencil easier. They are not as soft as Prismacolor Premier's but are nearly on par in terms of vibrancy and layering. One downside I have found is some of my pencils crumbled, 1 in particular is the shade 'Mud' that I lost 1/3 of the pencil. The Dahle 133 sharpener fixed the problem for me and have found they are more delicate on my pencils than my other sharpeners. Anyhow, I promptly contacted their Facebook page and they immediately sent out a replacement pencil for me all the way from Australia (took 8 weeks roughly to arrive). Their customer service is awesome and I really hope they do open stock one day!

I brought these pencils as I already owned all the previous black widow sets. These came in a metal tin with cardboard sleeve. The pencils are in plastic formed trays. The nice thing about the set is that includes pale colours that the other sets did not include. This an entirely new set with no repeats from previous black widow. The colours lay down well and it's easy to get vibrant, bold colours. They blend well and it's easy to get gradients. They sharpen well and hold their point without crumbling. They aren't as soft as a prismacolor pencil but patent as hard as polychromos. They are somewhere in the middle. I really like these pencils. My only sore point is that, as yet, black widow do not sell their pencils open stock which is annoying when you run out of your most used colours. Hopefully this is something they will offer in the future.

Usually I very much like my Black Widow MONARCH pencils - they are beautiful to work with. BUT this time something has gone wrong with the box: 1 colour (no 64) comes in 2 pencils - and the "neighbour" (no 42) is missing. I have written once to Amazon - without any response. This is not what I have experienced before - they have always been helpful. Now I'll try again - hoping that I'll get the missing colour UPDATE: After having been in contact with Amazon, they told me to either return the whole box (which seemed silly, as the rest was really OK) - or contact the seller (Medihealth 1) directly, which I did. 1-2 days later I got a nice mail from them promising to replace the missing pencil. I have not received it yet (- parcel from Australien/ Corona-trouble) - but as I have been in contact with the people in Medihealth 1 at an earlier occasion, I feel completely confident. They are trustworthy people 😊👍🏼

Item arrived with a dent in tin, it was going to be a gift so I was annoyed & disappointed. It was well packaged in Amazon packaging so the dent must have been there prior to sending. In order to see what the full range of colours are, I had to remove the wrapping which means I probably now can't return the product. VERY disappointed to see the limited range of colours despite it being a pack of 48. No red colours at all. As red is a primary colour I'd expected there to be at least one or two shades of red. Although there is a good range of other colours, without any red colours, their use is limited without buying a different set & possibly doubling up on other colours. Although these were a reasonable price, I will now have to pay for an alternative set of coloured pencils which will include some red colours & not sure what to do with this set now as I probably can't return them. I can't comment on the quality of the pencils as they have not been used. Whilst writing this review I have just noticed a colour swatch guide on the outside of the bottom of the tin which I didn't see before removing the plastic wrapper. So I guess it's my fault for not checking more carefully what the colours in the tin are before opening but I kind of assumed it would contain at least one red pencil, being a primary colour.

Le matite arrivano confezionate in una scatola di metallo leggera, ma robusta, imbustata accuratamente in plastica trasparente perchè le matite restino ben ferme (e sono ulteriormente fermate da una pellicola di plastica, dentro la scatola stessa). Il tutto infilato in una "manica" di cartoncino con lo stesso disegno della scatola. All'apertura erano perfettamente intatte, a parte una - che aveva la punta un po' scheggiata (ma può capitare, nel trasporto, nulla toglie al prodotto), la scatola senza un graffio e sono arrivate in soli due giorni. Sono matite molto morbide, e incredibilmente pigmentate, che significa che potete ottenere un colore intenso anche con una leggera pressione: poco sforzo, per chi soffre di dolori alle mani/polsi, ed ottima resa, con una lunga durata. Nonostante la cremosità, la mina è robusta e molto spessa, che è una caratteristica pregevole. Le matite dalle mine sottili, invece, sono sempre inclini a spezzarsi. Il legno nero, la verniciatura sempre nera e le scritte dorate (marca, nome del set abbreviato MN, nome della sfumatura, numero di serie), ne fanno una matita elegante e sobria allo stesso tempo, con in più la comodità di avere una "bandire" di colore sulla parte finale che vi indica quale avete in mano. A qualcuno poco importa che i nomi siano realistici o meno, e personalmente anche a me: del resto, tra marche diverse i colori che pur hanno lo stesso nome sono comunque differenti (pensate a "opale", "flesh","nocciola", cambiano a seconda che le prendiate Caran d'Ache piuttosto che Derwent, piuttosto che qualunque altra). In ogni caso qui ne faccio una nota positva, perchè sono comunque gradevoli anche solo da leggere! "Cats eye", "ice cream", "bliss", "milk", io li trovo creativi e appropriati. Veniamo alla parte per me migliore: la gamma dei colori. Aspettavo l'uscita di questo set da più di un mese, e non vedevo l'ora di provarle personalmente. E ha superato le mie aspettative. Comprende 48 meravigliosi colori, quasi tutti toni pastello, naturali, quelli che in inglese definireste "earth tones" e "muted tones". Il che è fantastico, in quanto solitamente potete trovare queste sfumature solo tra le marche di fascia di prezzo altissima. Darei 5 stelle anche solo per questo fatto. La foto parla da sè. Ho letto con dispiacere che qualcuno ha lamentato l'assenza di rossi e di colori primari, perciò ci tengo veramente a sottolineare una cosa importante: questo set è concepito come ESPANSIONE ai 3 set precedenti della Black Widow (Cobra, Black Widow e Scorpion), + i due set di toni della pelle, nei quali trovere tutti i colori classici, più comunemente utilizzati e anche più, essendo già quelle un totale di ben 96 matite. E tutte di ottima qualità, proprio come queste. Perciò, se cercate un set di matite colorate di base, questo potrebbe non essere adatto, consiglio invece gli altri tre set da 24, che ho già provato tutti. Ma se volete veramente delle sfumature uniche e realistiche (che io non ho visto nemmeno in marche molto più costose), ed a un prezzo più che ottimo, allora questo set Monarch è perfetto. Se proprio dovessi trovare loro per forza un "difetto", direi che all'apertura sprigionano un odore molto forte non buono, ma basta lasciarle scoperchiate un giorno in una stanza arieggiata e sparisce: probabilmente è la lacca con cui la barra è rivestita. Sono più che soddisfatta, entusiasta. Prodotto stra consigliato e voglio fare sinceri complimenti al produttore e alla azienda, perchè se possibile hanno migliorato e implementato un set di matite che era già ottimo, con queste è diventato tra i miei preferiti alla pari delle matite professionali d'artista. Di ben 144 splendide sfumature tutte diverse. (NOTA: queste matite non sono intese per uso professionale, bensì per la color therapy, in quanto non hanno al momento un " lightfast rating", un test di resistenza alla luce: questa è una caratteristica che fa salire molto il prezzo di una matita a causa dei pigmenti utilizzati. Ma io le preferisco, perchè posso usarle serenamente per le mie illustrazioni che non vendo, senza paura di consumarle in fretta e non potermi permettere di ricomprarle in seguito!)

Estos lapiceros de Black Widow me dejan una especie de adicción. Empecé probando light tones, después los dark tones... Me gustaron mucho. Para mí ni muy blandos ni muy duros. Aunque es algo muy personal, pienso que dependerá de tu forma de pintar y dibujar... y las sensaciones que te provocan y lo que quieras conseguir. Pues eso, creo que para mi, están muy bien y se adaptan perfectamente. Luego compré los de la cobra, y quedé tambien muy contento...y la verdad aunque terminaré comprando todos los estuches, me decidí por Monarch Premium de 48 colores. Viene mas completo y pienso que por la impaciencia de poder disponer de colores mas amplios elegí éste porque era lo último que habían puesto a la venta...Vienen muy bien presentados, envueltos en caja o estuche en negro y letras doradas. Una vez quitas la caja de cartón, tienes un estuche de latón en negro con dos estuches de plastico, con los lapiceros de diferentes colores.... De momento muy contento, espero con el tiempo comprar los otros dos estuches que me faltan...

Je suis tres contente de ses crayons de couleurs black widow monarch. Sa faisait un moment que je les voulais et ils ent on remis en stock donc j'ai saute sur l'occasion pour les prendres. J'ai fait le coloriage mystere entierement au black widow. Les couleurs sont tres bien.

Habe mir alle verfügbaren Sets (dark skin fehlt) gekauft. Habe bis jetzt nur die Farbkarte erstellt und die überwiegenden Stifte malen gut und ohne kratzen. Als Papier habe ich Castle Art Mixed-Media genutzt und manche Stifte haben schon stärker "gebröselt" aber das konnte man leicht wegpusten. Schöne Farben aber nicht so weich wie die Stifte von Faber Castell Black Edition, trotzdem würde ich mir die Black Widow Stifte erneut kaufen. Da die Stifte alle spitz waren, kann ich noch nichts zum anspitzen sagen. Bis jetzt kann ich nichts schlechtes über die Stifte schreiben. Lieferung ohne Probleme wie zugesagt

De plaat op de foto is gekleurd met Black Widow potloden. Met de Monarch maar ook met Cobra, Scorpion & Black Widow & de skintone sets. De potloden van black Widow zijn erg fijn. Zacht en makkelijk te mengen. Mooie kleuren.
