Great Price For A Great Product
Great taste. Not too sweet and good strawberry taste, and the price it right. So often it seems these sugar-free concoctions that big companies come up with all seem to have a big pricetag too. Nice to see a small company that knows how to make something inexpensive and still manage to taste good. I didn't care for the texture at first but I got over that after tasting it.

this tastes good. Not sure how 'pure' it is, but doesn't taste like pure sugar, which most inexpensive jams and jellys. It is cheap, goes a long way on toast. a nice treat!

Skinnygirl Sugar Free Grape, intense flavor
Very pleasantly surprised, sugar free grape preserves is every bit as good as that top brand that is full of sugar. Been a while since I found a grape one that was truly grape and full of concord grape flavor, been using blackberry and blueberry trying to find a sugar free one with the intense flavor.

Deception and lies never pay
You know what, I like the flavor of this product but I don't like people selling it who lied to me, this is supposed to sugar free. But when you look at the label there is maltodextrose which has a higher Glycemic score than table sugar. It raises your blood sugar rapidly and higher than regular sugar. maltodextrose is a sugar, so the label is an outright lie. Polydextrose adds very little sugar wise, but maltodextrin is another story altogether. Don't advertise sugar free when sugar has been added, It says it's a trivial amount, But what is trivial about lying to people and saying it's SUGAR FREE when it clearly isn't? I am so disappointed. I took them at their word and bought this, then I came back later and out of curiosity I checked the label information. I am so tired of people lying and deceiving to sell their products. I am just sick at heart over this. When you say sugar free, there needs to be 0 sugar of ANY kind in your product. If there's ANY KIND of sugar in it, then it's not sugar fee. Simple isn't it? Google search: Maltodextrin has a high glycemic index (GI) and glycemic load (GL). The GI is typically around 95, which is considered high, and the GL is around 94. This means that maltodextrin can cause a rapid rise in blood sugar levels. Elaboration: Glycemic Index (GI): The GI measures how quickly a food raises blood sugar levels compared to a reference food, usually glucose (GI of 100). A GI of 95 for maltodextrin indicates that it causes a rapid and significant increase in blood sugar. And I really liked it until I found out that the manufacturer decided they had to lie to sell the product. It reminds of the LMNT deception thing, they had maltodextrose in their product too. No thank you.

Update: Ok, so I recently brought my carbs waaaaaaay down, and incorporated longer stretches of intermittent fasting. I saw someone in a food group mention that they use a Mission Zero tortilla, smear some butter on it, lightly toast it, then smear a pat of cream cheese and sugar free jam on it. Then fold it or roll it up. Since I happened to have all of these things, I decided to give it a try. The only sugar free jam I had were these preserves. My second jar that I never got to! Well.. WOW, yum, yum yum. I think because I have been very low carb, everything tastes sweeter to me. This tastes SO much better than it did 6 months ago (or perhaps the second jar is better?). Anyway, I will be making this "sweet" treat often as it is super easy, and the ingredients are all something I have on hand. (I never did make my own jam as per further into old review). Now that I have a reason to love it, and I am currently buying some more, I am upping my rating to 4 stars from 3. ---------------------------------------------------- I bought this on a whim. Mostly because it had been $5 and then price dropped down to $2 and change. I bought to jars. I figured it couldnt be that bad. Taste is.. fine. It has a very light strawberry flavor. Barely there. Considering all the other stuff in it, I am surprised that the flavor wasn't boosted artificially. Otherwise has mouthfeel of preservatives/jelly. I find I use more to get more flavor. It gets lost paired with other flavors (like peanut butter or butter, or on yogurt). It is so very light just on its own. So my 3 star rating is based on taste. I think it is "OK", so 3 stars. Also I dont rate on price (we can all see price, we all have different budgets, preferences, needs, and prices fluctuate). The remainder of my comments is just thoughts, and dont impact my rating. --The ingredient list is meh. Had I looked at it closer, I might have passed on this. --It is better than some low sugar, no sugar options out there. --I think if I really want a lower calorie preserve/jelly/jam I may make my own. I am not a DIY person, but cooking down some strawberries and adding some pectin will give me a low cal strawberry product with nutrients still intact. No red dye needed. If i need it sweet, then I can add whatever amount of sugar or non-sugar sweetener I want. Maybe make a batch a week. Super quick. --considering that there are maybe 46 calories in a cup of strawberries, which is 16 tablespoons, that would be less than 3 calories per tablespoon. The amount of pectin needed for a batch is minimal. So any cals are basically non existent. Yeh, so I think I know what I will be doing. Oddly, I would consider trying other flavors just out of curiosity. Maybe something else has a stronger flavor that makes it worth it.

Not a Skinny Girl
I'm not a Skinny Girl rather just a fat old guy but hey, my wife is a skinny girl, and we love these sugar free Apricot preserves. I eat them almost every day on a piece of toast in an effort to be a Skinny old man. Great taste, quality product, minimal ingredients along with a long shelf life. I order 2 at a time and would highly recommend.
