why do you have to empty the fuel to fill this torch. does this mean you can never top off the fuel?

Sorry for misunderstanding information inweb page. Sometimes you may not be able to refill, the gas continues leaking. That is because of the unbalanced pressure from very few remaining gas and gas cant go to gas tank. So you have to release the remaining gas then refill. This is not a quality problem and does not happen everytime. You dont have to empty fuel before refill every single time. If you have problem in refilling, try to release first. Otherwise, you just refill directly. Hope this answer helps. If you still have problems, contact us, we can show you with a video.

After filling the torch and using for couple days i picked it up and nothing. the gas isn’t lighting the ignition is working but no gas?? why??

Im guessing you need to fill it and your are out of gas. I dont know how much you used it but the gas doesnt last forever. you may not have purged it well enough on the first fill and didnt get it full enough. read the instructions on filling. or its possible your torch has a leak too.

Does it do a softer (lighter) type flame as well as the torch flame?
