The cheesecloth itself is fine. Works as expected. The hemming is another matter, after the first use of the first sheet from the pack, half the hemming on one side has come off and it was not subjected to any mechanical force at all. That is fine though, the hemming is cosmetic only and doesn't affect the usage of the product at all. I've been using plain, un-hemmed cheesecloth for years without any problems - not worth subtracting a star. Overall, I feel that I got exactly what I paid for.

I perfer these over cheese clothes. They are tighter woven so you can filter your milk after milking but you can also use them in the process of making cheese.

Excellent for straining stock- especially something that needs to stay clear, like a freeze-distilled consomme.

I use these for straining while making stock, for the price, and with the convience of Amazon deliveries, these offer great value to me. Nice and fine cloth and pretty easy to clean, would recommend.

I have used these to make ricotta and to make almond milk (with wine for a recipe from the middle ages) and they have worked beautifully. I rinse them out before use each time and then pop them in the washing machine between uses. They are a great size and live up to all expectations.

I've never used cheesecloths before, so wasn't sure what to expect. Did some research. Bought these as I wanted to make clarified butter( ghee). Worked very well. Excellent value for money as you get 5 cheesecloths. They are a brilliant size. Hemmed all around. Washes very well. Dries quickly. I also used them damp for covering dough that's proving or waiting to be used. For a first time user of cheesecloths - I love these!
