Perfect Travel Bag
Absolutely what I was looking for - a travel day pack. Packs super small, super lightweight, yet strong and large volume. I’ve been biking around cities I’m visiting, and it’s working perfectly. I opted for the orange one, which adds a high vis pop of color to improve my road safety while biking. Also I love that the water bottle pockets are tall/deep enough to securely hold a liter of water. When I travel, I need to at least carry 1 liter of water with me. It does so securely. The smaller pocket is still pretty big, so I can throw in my wallet and phone and keys and passes and a map and my watercolor set. Like the odds and ends. Big pocket is for my sweater, etc. big items. Truly perfect all around.

Definitely you want to purchase this. Exceeded expectations.
This is a great item. I’m so glad I purchased it trip. It was so lightweight and compact so easy to carry with me. And it held a ton of stuff. It felt light as a feather on my back. It was very secure. At one point I had a winter coat, a sweater, headphones, gloves, and a scarf in it, and it held all of that easily. This purchase should be a no-brainer and a welcome addition to any trip you take. To have something so compact and lightweight yet durable. I’m glad I purchased it.

Lightweight and packable, not super durable
I bought 3 of these for my family to use as pack able daypacks on a 14 day trip to Peru. They got lots of use, and were suitable for the purpose. They pack down super small and take up very little space in your luggage, but unpack large enough to fit a layer or two, a water bottle, and whatever you need for a day trip. They are very affordable and everyone got through the trip successfully. No one treated them super harshly but they ended up with the some tears in the fabric. Buy this for a trip or two, or occasional use and you won’t be disappointed. If you want something for more frequent use, heavier use, or want it to last a long time, spend the money on one of the big brands.

If a daypack is truly what you're looking for, look no further.
For what this bag is -- a daypack that is extremely thin and light, and rolls up into a fist-sized bundle -- it's been satisfactory in almost every way. I have been using it for about 1 year and 8 months, and it has not failed me. | Pros: | - LOW WEIGHT, VERY COMPRESSIBLE: rolled up, I can fit it in the back pocket of a pair of men's jeans (snug, but fully possible), go in a store without raising concerns about shoplifting, and use it for my purchases when I leave. My friends have laughed at how insubstantial it looks when it's empty, and I think that reflects positively on this aspect of the bag. When I say the material is thin and light, I mean that it's between the thickness of a single-use grocery bag and a reusable plastic grocery bag. Or between a kitchen trash bag and a thick outdoor trash bag. - HUGE VOLUME, SPACIOUS: traveling long-term, I lived comfortably for a month on what I could fit in this bag. I managed to fit a laptop and charger, a small binder (~ 6.5" x 9"), two pairs of jeans, three shirts, several pairs of socks and underwear, and a toiletry bag in the main compartment; in the secondary compartment and side pockets, I fit a kindle, phone charger, power bank, a light for video calls, and several other small items. Was it absolutely stuffed? Yes. Has it burst on me when packed like that? Not so far. Am I confident that it won't burst? Not 100%. - IDEAL FOR AIR TRAVEL: this bag is literally the exact maximum size and has exactly the form factor to fit under a standard plane seat in coach on an airplane in the United States. I traveled with it when packing light, stress free. When it was absolutely stuffed as much as the bag could handle, I worried it wouldn't fit, but it did. - SUFFICIENT ORGANIZATION: okay, it is ~wild~ what the side pockets can fit. I've stuffed a pair of high-top Vans sneakers in one side pocket without issue. Between the side pockets, secondary compartment, and the little bag that's tethered inside (intended to store it when it's rolled up), I've been satisfied with the way I can organize items. I don't think I'd find more compartments/pockets useful. - WATER RESISTANT (sort of): enough for that to not be false advertising. Not amazing, but I honestly doubt a manufacturer could achieve much better with fabric this thin other than maybe its durability (see below) - MINIMAL ODOR: I don't recall this bag having a significant odor (new, plastic-y) when it came. - VALUE: that $27 USD has gone a long, long way. | Cons*: | * I think these are mostly drawbacks of daypacks in general, rather than this bag in particular. - UNCOMFORTABLE WHEN HEAVY: the shoulder straps have very little padding (if they did, it couldn't roll up as small), so if I pack enough stuff in it to really weigh it down, it digs into my shoulders and becomes uncomfortable after 20 minutes or so. If this is a concern for you, you could consider bringing two small pieces of fabric (like washcloths) to fold up for padding. Otherwise, I'd recommend you start looking at proper backpacks, not daypacks. - ZIPPERS SNAG EASILY: this is how I ruined the daypack I had before this one. If you are fast and reckless when opening the zipper and especially when closing it, the material is so thin that it easily gets caught, which can lead to zipper misalignment. It's happened a few times now, but thankfully I've managed to recover so far. - INSIDE WEARS AWAY: after a few months, the inner surface started deteriorating. I suspect this decreases the water resistance. The photo I've added is of the bag inside-out after 20 months; you can see the black areas where the coating has worn away. NOTE: this is the only aspect of the bag that I can imagine competitors doing better on. Like I said, most of the bag's problems are problems with daypacks in general, so I give it 5 stars. When it breaks -- all good things must come to an end, after all -- I will almost certainly just buy another one.

Light, versatile & ample
Got it for an overseas trip & it was great! Weighs nothing & can hold a lot in its 2 main compartments. The smaller one was big enough for readily available & accessible essentials. The larger one can expand purchases - like a wearable plastic shopping bag. There are also 2 easily accessible compartments for folding umbrella and water bottle that are ample & well fitted. The empty pack wadded so it can easily fit anywhere in a carry on or used at the airport for last minute purchases. We were in Japan so weren't as concerned of personal security issues. Can't comment on its durability for long term or heavy use but it was perfect for this & the tropical print blended in well. Often forgot it was even on.

Love this backpack! AMAZING PRODUCT
I’m so impressed by the design and durability of this backpack. It looks and feels like NOTHING when it’s packed away in its pouch. Virtually weightless. At first when you open it, it’s so thin and light that you wonder how it could ever possibly stand up to heavy use. I just completed a monthlong trip where I used it EVERY DAY packed to the brim with towels, water bottles, electronics, extra clothes. It’s STRONG and RUGGED. And it’s half the price of a similar item from Osprey. I might buy the next size up just because I love it so much.

Strong, spacious, lightweight backpack for touring
Used for 3 weeks touring in Europe. Worked great as lightweight backpack to take essentials on group tours: In large section with plenty of room I kept a hat, sweatshirt, occasionally two collapsible umbrellas, and a few other small items. In the smaller section I kept money, writing utensils and paper, medicine, glasses, etc. - small items for which I wanted quick access. Even the smaller section was spacious - perhaps 2 liters. Fit very easily into museum lockers where they don't want you to carry a backpack around. As others have said, it felt "flimsy" but was in fact very strong nylon with very strong seams and zippers. Quite easily packed back into tiny package (which stays attached to the backpack itself, so never lost). This is NOT a backpack for carrying something like a computer, it is an excellent backpack for carrying essentials while walking on tours (in my case, in European cities).

Mixed review
Used it the other while riding 30 miles on bike on Hiawatha Trail in northern Idaho. I was able to pull it out of the small traveling bag and open it up to a full size backpack. It fit nicely over shoulders, but the shoulder straps were a little too skinny so they seemed to cut into my shoulders over time when fully packed. Side pockets for water bottles were a little tight and shallow for my usual bottles.

Esta mochila es muy práctica tanto para ir a caminar como para realizar compras. Es muy ligera y fuerte. Además es muy práctica porque la bolsa para guardar la mochila está unida, así que no perderás nunca esta pequeña bolsa.

Backpack not quite as large as expected.
Recipient quite pleased with item - although it seems rather smaller than described in both product details and reviews.
