Soft. I mean SUPER soft. But they are so snug around my torso (and I'm SKINNY) that within an hour they crept up so high I think... wait, am I wearing a bra? I take some blame for ordering M (my normal t-shirt size) when it seems L would have been better. My wife loves these as pajama shirts, so all is not lost.
