G good product/ the waterdrop water filter pitcher and filters are perfect!
The filters are effective and easy to use. The item is perfect, but I did not expect to receive a duplicate water filter pitcher. The filters themselves are very easy to work with, and the filtered water is delicious. The water filter pitcher is attractive and easy to use. I am unhappy about needing to take the duplicate water pitcher to UPS for return: I don’t have a vehicle so this return is a big inconvenience.

Works well
This is a nice water pitcher. It has a nice blue hue and is clean looking. It does filter alot quicker than the Brita pitcher with the bigger filter. It refills easy with the hatch on top of the lid that opens and allows you to fill up the pitcher from the water pressure when filling under the faucet. There is no need to take the lid off when filling the pitcher. The spout does have a cover to keep stuff from entering the pitcher through spout. So far so good. Water tastes fine.

Better than my classic Brita
The only pitcher I’ve ever owned has been a Brita for over 20 years. Since it was time to buy more filters, I wanted something that had better contaminant removal in pitcher form. I was concerned about the reviews here that mentioned a top lid that shifted and also water not opening the fill hole on top when pouring. Relieved to say the pitcher I got has no lid fit issues after using it for months. None. However....yes. The humidity in the water reservoir does make the pour flap stick a bit when you start filling it. I get a water droplet or two if I don’t aim the sink spout completely before turning on the faucet but to me it’s no big deal. The droplets slide off for the most part. While it says it’s a 10 cup pitcher it’s more like 11 cups to me which is perfect for filling our coffee pot. I do like that this pitcher can hold that much water without the filter soaking in it. The Brita can’t do that and in fairness it’s not designed to. This does make the Long Life heavier with water but not an issue for us. The physical height is about an inch taller than a classic Brita and it wouldn’t fit on the interior fridge shelf as easily. We have a French door fridge so not great. But we cleared a space on the door and it fits perfectly. I have attempted to pour water while it still has some in the filter chamber and it has not been an issue but I've only had to do so a couple times and kept my free hand on the lid. Not much of a concern because this pitcher filters water fast! Really fast! It makes me a bit dubious that it filters as well as my Brita ( with the long life filters) but I couldn’t find much to disprove it online. So the jury is out on this point. With the Brita we had to refill it a bit a second time to max out our coffee pot each morning. That always meant waiting. Problem solved with the Long Life. The taste test: so after cleaning the pitcher and following the new purchase prep instructions- I filled both the standard amount from the faucet and let both pitchers sit on the counter at room temperature for twenty minutes before pouring two glasses of water. I could taste a slight difference. Very slight. The Brita to me has a minor after taste in the palette if I go ‘looking for it’. And yes. My pitchers are clean and the Brita filter has 2 months to go before ‘end of life’. My wife could not taste any difference. Overall the design is an improvement over a classic Brita pitcher, the water tastes as good or better, it filters faster, it holds slightly more water, the lid stays on, and I can deal with a few water droplets. Very happy with the purchase. Will update over time. (This has been updated. No regrets. Would buy again if I needed another.) It’s a keeper! Edit ( two weeks later): Still a keeper but.... for one thing I have started to experience the dreaded intake cap not opening OCCASIONALLY and I understand why. Over time the upper chamber humidity (and pouring water in) creates a seal along the intake cap edge. Not a strong one - but enough. I've taken to giving the side of the cap closest to the spring a tap to weaken the bond and then filling it. Of course my hands are clean before I do this. Problem resolved for me. A flaw but I have no idea how they can redesign it and I still find it superior to the classic Brita design. As a result of the fill cap not opening occasionally, it does result in a FEW water beads on the lid. Doesn't bother me. Easily wiped off. One improvement for your next design: create a clear upper chamber to see how much water you pour inside (especially useful if topping off) or maybe a tiny water level indicator (like on some coffee makers). Please. That's my main complaint because I do like topping off.

Great Water Pitcher! Great Value! 🚰
I'm so glad I purchased this water pitcher! The reviews didn't lie one bit! Nice design and it can hold a lot of water! This water pitcher did a fabulous job filtering out the water and the bad taste that came from my tap water! It was easy to install as well with clear instructions! I recommend buying one!

No funky taste, no frills water pitcher. Great value for its price!
Great filter pitcher for price point. Wanted something I could have in my room so I wouldn't have to keep getting up for water, this works perfectly. I even started throwing Ice into it, and somehow it doesn't condesate and get water everywhere, must be the material! Filling it is easy and quick, it takes less than 5 minutes for a full pitcher. I drink from a 32oz water bottle and get about 2 refills from the pitcher. Never dealt with funky taste, it does seem like it filters out the tap water exceptionally well.

The only problem I had was registering the product.
This review is for the Waterdrop WD-PT-07B. The pitcher is an attractive baby blue. The photo to my eyes looked a bit more aqua blue. It is semi-transparent but not enough to really see through the top. The materials feel good. The size of the pitcher is much bigger than my OXO alkaline water pitcher, which was too small for my taste but it's fine. This jug holds enough water to last me about 2 days before refilling, OR I just refill it each time I take it out. It also comes with a little timer button to let you know when it's time to change filters - I assume it will base it on time like 3 months from now? There is a nifty little spring port at the top so you won't have to remove and replace the lid of this pitcher each time you fill it up. You can set the jug in the sink and turn the water on. The spring hinged top port is big enough not to cause issue: roughtly 2" by 1.5". The spring is loose enough that the pressure from your spicket should keep the aperture depressed while it fills, you still have to turn your water off if you don't want it to overflow. (Someone probably wouldn't figure that out if I do not tell them.) I truly enjoy this novel idea BUT if the spring fails it might be more of a problem than a solution - good idea nevertheless. I was sold on this pitcher because of the 7 sediment filtration system and the partial filtering of fluoride, something Brita filters do not claim to do that this one CLAIMS to do. I haven't done any scientific research to see if it does it's job at all because unless you take your water to a specialist, none of the test on Amazon seem to be legit testers. The technology of this filter is generally what is found in higher priced systems, be it at a much smaller degree. I done a blind taste test with my mom and she knew right away which was filtered and which wasn't. I used the same style glass, same water level, same temperature. She didn't have to do a repeat, she pointed right away the correct choice. She said easy decision. Her taste buds are better than mine but I agreed with her that I thought I could tell a difference too. The city water had a chemical aftertaste to me, this one I couldn't get much aftertaste at all. So, as far as flavor it is filtering out something because the taste is better than bottled water IMO. The only negatives I see with this filter are: The filter a lot of times does get very slow filtering - almost coming to a complete hault. I try to leave the pitcher out until it is finished. It seems to have a tougher time filtering cold water than room temp water. This could be a good thing as it is slowing the water down to a standstill, therefore in my imagination I am assuming it must be cleaning it. It is good it has 2 drains, as often one gets jammed but the other continues flowing water through. I haven't had a filter take more than 5 minutes but it may slow down with age? The great idea of the spring could be a cause of concern if it stopped springing back up. I genuinely applaud the effort and I hope it holds up. If it holds up this is one of the best ideas ever. Very useful concept and so far works flawlessly. I would advise not to play with it too much and don't let your kids break it. The registration was a pain. Their website does not list this model. So expect to have to speak with the customer service and correspond through your email address. The rep said this has been a problem they are trying to fix. Mia was very kind even though I was getting impatient. I spent 4 days trying to register this. In the end, I tried to put in Pitcher Filtration System and then all straightforward information since the model number is not listed. The website would not accept Pitcher Filtration System - it flagged it. So I had to send Mia a screenshot and she said she got my information in. This took 4 days and I'll spare you the back and forth. I hope you know what to do if you buy this filter. On a good note, the registration gives 2 year warranty and a free filter. So it was a nice addition that kind of backfired. But since Mia was so polite and kind, I cannot fault the pitcher for this and anyone looking for a good pitcher should realize this seems like an excellent bargain for an excellent product. I don't want to confuse people with lower ratings simply based on a failed attempt to provide excellent customer service that intertwined with it a simple human error. Thank you Waterdrop! I like this filter and appreciate the free filter (if I get it). I wasn't expecting one so if I get it, a great gift!

Great filter for a great taste
Love this pitcher. It’s just the right size for my fridge. Doesn’t take up a lot of room. I like the filter use indicator on top with the blue indicator light. Easy set up and comes with one filter. I don’t have to lug in heavy water bottles and have already saved on those. Water tastes great. Only had a month or so and I hope it’s durable.
