I just received the satchel. Very well packed and protected. It comes in a cardboard box with brown paper for protection. When you get it out, the satchel is yet protected inside two plastic bag and one linen bag. I was very impressed by this. The metal bits (buckles etc) comes wrapped in protective-pad like paper and film. So in terms of delivery, 5 stars. The satchel itself looks fantastic. The stitching looks alright, good finished there. The leather has leathery smell although in my case, not too strong. The leather looks ok, not dry and bends perfectly without creating any crease. Some people said the leather is too thin, for me is ok. Looks sturdy enough to last under adverse weather conditions. The zips are working and in one piece although they do not look the best. The strap is, in my opinion, good size in length and width. It has a padded support that can be adjust so it always will be on your shoulder. The strap clasps/hooks look good and sturdy. I have read some people having problems with them, we will see. First impression: they look good. Overall quality 4.5 stars because I am not sure how long the zips will work correctly. The satchel is so spacious inside. There is a lot of space for books, pads, laptop and more. I can fit my 15.6" laptop, books, documents, stationary, etc. with no problem. The front pockets are small for these days smartphones, but still very useful to hold pens, pencils and things like that. Very functional. Size and storing space 5 stars. The vintage looks is very elegant and smart. Also is comfortable to carry (just carry it out around the house to test). The leather tone in my satchel is very similar to the one shown in the picture on Amazon, so very happy with this. With the passing of the time the leather will look even better. Design 5 stars I need to start using the satchel now on daily basis for work, we will see if it last for long. By the overall look of it, the satchel should last years. Fingers crossed. So far my satisfaction with this satchel is total.

My bag arrived today and I couldn’t be happier. It was delivered on time, packaged securely, and the quality is outstanding. The design is both stylish and practical, featuring convenient pockets, sturdy strap, and high-quality fastenings( this is huge plus for me. You tend to find poor quality fasteners, which you normally get these days) I would have no hesitation recommending this to friends and family. It truly offers excellent value for money.

Bought as a birthday present for my husband and he’s REALLY pleased with it! Fantastic craftsmanship and has room for everything he needs to take into work with him. I’ve seen plenty of reviews saying it smells bad when first opened. I wouldn’t say it smells terrible, but it will need a bit of time to air if you can’t live with the smell of new leather. It does lose the smell after a few weeks. Dropped a star because sadly, after use for 4 days a week across seven weeks, the front catch came off (pictured). I’d hoped it might be more durable than that. It doesn’t affect the use of the bag, however. Just a shame part of it has broken so soon, especially given the price.

This bag is brilliant! I've been using it about 4 months now, and it is a proper workhorse of a bag. On arrival, the bag was expertly packaged with great care and attention to detail! The leather did have a strong smell after unboxing. (I left it for a week or so on the coat rack and in/out of the boot of the car.) After that the more the bag was handled the better; and it now has that lovely leather smell. I'm using the bag daily for work. As a new bag, it was snug to fit in my mac, charger and my A4 diary. After using it for a few weeks, I could pack in just about anything! The leather has relaxed and the patina is developing lovely. At one point, I have fit my big A4 diary, an inch+ stack of children's books, a mac laptop, a thinkpad laptop, two ipads, and all the chargers. It was heavy to carry, but did the job... like I said it is a workhorse of a bag. The workmanship on the bag is excellent! The stitching is robust and the hardware used is solid. I have no doubt that this bag will be with me for years and years! I looked into the company, and the owner started out very near my own hometown. So to Komal, from one southern girl to another, go get 'em girl! And I will be recommending your company to many in the future! Diolch yn fawr!

Excellent quality, good bag. Colour as per pictures. Good holders and straps. Fits 17 inch laptop fine, 18 inch may need to stretch a little (but will do)

Excellent craftsmanship and quality, the leather has a god tan to it and is the perfect size with plenty of pockets. I bought this bag to replace one my brother bought me as gift many years ago and it is almost an exact match. Couldn’t be happier and would most definitely recommend.

Excellent quality leather good sturdy case

I have seen leather bags for over £100. I was a bit sceptical at this one, particularly as it was goat/ buffalo leather which can smell a bit. It had very little odour and is great quality for the price. Good quality straps and fastenings. It's not waterproof so first time it got wet it had white patches which wiped off. All good so far. I use it every day for work, so see how long the seams and stitching last. Worth the money definitely.

This is my first time writing a review on any product but I found this product completely exceeded all of my expectations. The bag was beautifully wrapped with a Thank you note and letter to explain that the leather may have a distinctive smell (leather) for the first few weeks. Each buckle was individually wrapped so as not to scratch the leather in transport. It is exactly the kind of bag I was looking for to carry my computer (18"), books, pencil case and notes. It has great pockets both inside and out and the easy clip stap is great. My only complaint is the strap has the buckle on the short side so the strap flap is pointing up rather than down but this is only a minor problem. I waited a few weeks to post the review to see how the bag would hold up to everyday use and there is no issue with the straps or the handle holding the weight of my items. I have received so many compliments on this bag as well. I love it! Thank you for making such a beautiful product and such a reasonable price.

10/10 would recommend Craftsmanship - The stitching is beautiful and precise, all the buckles and locks are real metal and the tanning is beautiful. It smells like.... Leather lol I don't know why people complain about this because I loved opening the packaging and getting that whiff of real leather, it's just further proof that this is worth every penny. In short, this is true craftsmanship, there were no shortcuts taken this is a bag that will last you a lifetime! Practicality - My time is currently split 50/50 between home and the office AND I'm a working artist so this satchel needed to do it all for me. The shoulder strap is the only thing I have a bit of a hard time with but I'm short so the placement of the buckle on the shoulder strap is a bit awkward (sometimes even painful because of the stiffness) but the leather will soften over time and I'm sure I'll find a good length to keep it at. It has tons of pockets and partitions. For reference, I can comfortably store my 15" laptop (including wires, mouse, & headset), my sketchbook, my drawing tablet, a paperback novel, and my two pencil cases containing a multitude of drawing materials. Service - It came so fast! The satchel is packaged with great care inside a canvas bag and then again in plastic before it's placed in the box with a lovely note signed by the store owner. This note also contained instructions for caring for it and additional contact information should I need anything. This is the longest review I've ever written about a product on Amazon but this store is deserving of a good review... I LOVE this briefcase/satchel and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a bag to serve many functions. On top of it being very practical, it's also just beautifully made and well worth the price!

The bag that arrived was not the bag in the picture. I need an 18 inch messanger bag for a 17 inch laptop. The one that arrived doesn't even reach 17 inches, so it rendors this unusable. Besides which, the buckles are locked with no key. It me 10 minutes to open it by the buckle. Bag in itself is quite well made, but I cant use it so there's no point. I'm really displeased about not getting the bag in photo.
