Every child should read Jan Brett during the winter season and this one is a classic. The book is sturdy, the illustrations clear and engaging, the text crisp and vibrant. A quality book and a good price.

FAVE BOOK AS A KID!
Hi everyone, ok so I grew up with this book & was/am a HUGE fan of the author. Recently got the book for my cousin's babyshower & the book didn't come ripped, damaged etc. Packaged well & the Amazon people actually didn't throw or drop it like they usually do. You wont be disappointed with the hardcover, even the baby book hard version is great for little ones as well. Pages were in great shape also. The adventure begins with the mitten & your children to adults will love it! 10/10 for me :)

We love this one
A fun story but what stands out most is the stunning illustrations! I enjoyed this book as a kid and now I get to share it with my own! Good quality board book.

just buy it
timeless classic simplified version since its a board book but board books are good for little ones since they will tear thin pages anyways i enjoy reading this to my now 1 yr old good to have part of board book collection

Gorgeous story for any time of the year
Purchased this for my wife's class of threes, and they love it. The artwork is absolutely beautiful. The story itself is charming and often funny, and works with the artwork very well. Jan Brett is a great children's author.
