Ants Took It Immediately — Gone in 2 Days
This Advion Insect Granular Bait is seriously impressive. As soon as I put it down, I could literally watch the ants swarm it and carry it away right back to their nest. The real test was what happened next—within about 2 days, the ants were completely gone. No more trails, no more activity. This Stuff is Amazing!
This stuff is amazing! I first learned of it from a YouTube video where a professional lawn maintenance man used and recommended it for killing out ant beds. I have been through two complete bags of ant killer bought from big box stores which was "guaranteed" to destroy red ants. When sprinkled around the mound, it tamped down ant activity for a couple of days and they come right back. I expected Advion to require several applications before assessing its effectiveness. To my surprise, it worked after the first application. I used only a teaspoon around the hole on two different ant beds in my yard. The ants seemed to really like it as I watched individuals pick the grains and carry them into the hole. I went back the next day to reapply and saw absolutely NO ant activity! Watching for two more weeks since then, I still see no activity at all. I now seem to have a lifetime supply on hand and no ants to use it on. Great product.

Not for Texas fire ants.
I wanted this to work on fire ants. I watched them take the bait into the mound. But all treated mounds still alive and well 3 days later.
