Plough Butter Ghee 500g

I make a lot of spicy curries, and try to stick to the proper recipes, as far as I can. Using this Ghee, keeps the flavours as they should be, keeps the texture perfect.

A little difficult to get hold of were I live so great it can be delivered to my home, great value for money.

Good value and great for cooking with ..

I have tried Ghee from another source and it seemed to provide a better 'fat' for cooking Roast veg with a crispy coat - with or without a polenta/semolina coating. It also give the heat you need to properly fry veg/meat/bread so has to be on the list of potential ingredients. As long as you do not over consume it Ghee is no more unhealthy than traditional 'block' fats. I don't use it for all cooking just those that need a high temperature cooking medium. It does not seem to 'taint' the taste of feed but it does give a nice nutty aroma to the kitchen when I use it. I do suggest that other try it or at least keep a pot for those cooking Sunday Roast. The roasted veg are definitely the better for a basting with of ghee.

Used it for making Indian food, and also for fry up's, easy to use and a good taste. Recommended.

Optisch ziet de ghee er uit of deze gedeeltelijk gesmolten is. In de pan is het echter prima bakken.

No lo había probado pero me parece que está buenísimo. No sabe a mantequilla común. Quizás sea un toque más ¿ácida?, pero su sabor sorprende.

He probado otras marcas, y ésta no tiene buen sabor. No la volveré a comprar.
