Why is the max door height 42"? Is it weight/leverage thing? I was hoping to use it for two doors at 55" tall.

Hinges are only rated for a set amount of weight.You can order two sets and add one to the center of door.

Where can I find the install guide? I need to know how much thickness this hardware consumes.

Hardware itself is 1/2”. Add thickness of door (3/4”) add 1/4” hinge projection and total you need on each side is ~1.3/4”. Make sure to drill two access holes in your inner panels or you won’t be able to adjust hinges.

I have a 16 7/8" wide door and a 21" cabinet depth. What length hinge do I need, or how do I calculate it?

Manufacture never responded to requests for product info

I remain concerned that the manufacturer could not respond to several requests for product information. The product is fine but technical information was needed in order to adequately build a cabinet around the product with dimensions necessary.
