Used this product per the recommendation of an Access Point vendor with Outdoor WiFi models installed in a freezer. The initial install without the Dow corning failed within a month with ice buildup in the Ethernet port compartment. RMA'd units are still going 2+ years with the compound installed properly.

I have been using this stuff for years. I use a little dab on my spin on oil filter gaskets. Make some come off real easy they don’t stick.

Insufficient info on contents or MSDS to compare compounds

I had a water intrusion failure on a difficult to reach antenna so am now using this to weatherproof my connections. Used in inside the SO-239 and on its threads before screwing on the PL-259 connector. This fills in all of the gaps inside to displace water that wants to get inside. I did find that you don’t want the stuff on any of the exposed SO-239 as it is slippery and makes installing 3M 130C rubber splicing tape a bit difficult as the tape cannot adhere to the SO-239, so be sure to clean excess off.

I use this a lot in my job so it's perfect to have my dedicated tube in the top drawer of my toolbox. I have no complaints.
