Crispy Parmesan Protein Chips

I still love this high protein delicious snack. I find this most recent box contains protein chips with a different texture and mouth feel than I'm used to. Instead of the chips being very solid and thick, they're kind of airy. But the flavor is still yummy, and I will continue buying these. I just wonder why they're different now.

These are not sold as a diet food but they work quite well for that or anyone who is tired of snacks that are loaded with questionable ingredients and tons of calories/fat/carbs. These are very low calorie/fat/carbs while also having a fair amount of protein, so that needs to be kept in mind with the flavors. You can't just swap these with your grocery store junk food and think no one will notice.I am on an alternative version of the Ideal Protein Diet and use these in place of the approved "packets" that have very low calories/fat/carbs. I don't like that the "approved" packets have all kinds of questionable ingredients and also cost roughly 7x as much as these. These are natural and also at a very significant savings. Admittedly, they do not taste quite as good, but at a saving of $5-6 PER BAG, and the fact that these are natural, I can tolerate the fact that these aren't quite as yummy. Additionally, I had a small issue with an order and contacted Kay's directly, and their customer service was fantastic. I'm very happy to have found these products.

I get these on auto delivery. I have tried many options of this brand but I like these best. The cracker is thick and firm nd the taste is pleasant. They are not delicate and survive a sag in my handbag without turning the crumbs. I often get headaches related to protein powders in products but this work great with not fallout.

Kay's Natural line includes one of my go-to protein snacks, but their Protein Chips are not the best tasting possible (but not as bad as the pretzels); the brand definitely does sweet flavors better than savory ones. I have tried both the `Parmesan` and `Chili Nacho` flavors, and the taste didn't impressed me. The crunch and serving size makes them a satisfying snack, I just wished the brand would improve the savoryflavors.The protein chips overall make a decent savory protein snack and I do like the fact that they are soy based (I try to avoid whey based protein snacks, but popular options like Quest and SimplyProtein do taste better).The taste, while savory and not awful, it's something that calls for me. The `Parmesan` has a very mild cheesiness and barely reminds me of actual parmesan cheese. The `Chili Nacho` has some hints of chili nacho, but it's not really spicy, and it's even milder on the cheese factor. Oddly, some bags (even in the same 6-pack) were a little bit salty than other.Texture wise, the chips are quite dry, more like crisps than crunchy chips. I personally don't mind the dryness, but I see why some people might consider the texture cardboard like. For the portion size (34g), there are quite a lot of chips in the bag. I also find them quite a filling snack at 115 calories, but definitely not a meal replacement.I wouldn't call these chips necessarily a healthier snack, but the ingredients are not that bad (mostly soy protein isolate, along with flours and starches).The plastic bags are quite thick and sturdy, the chips are well protected and mostly whole. I regularly order from the brand, different flavors, and they are always delivered in good conditions.

I have tried most of the flavors of Kay's Naturals. They are my breakfast every morning and have been for the last few months. This flavor is among my favorites. As with any healthy alternative, finding a good flavor and maintaining the healthy goals set forth by the product can be tricky. The people over at Kay's nailed it with this one! Not only do I enjoy them, but I find myself craving them.

I've been buying Kay's Naturals Protein chips for years. I usually love them, but something went wrong with this batch!I ordered five boxes with six bags each. I've opened six of them, and have thrown out six of them. They taste burnt and bland. I requested a refund which Amazon gave me.If anyone from Kay's is reading this: Please check the quality of Lot #04919B with an expiration date of 05/18/20.

Out of all of Kay’s snack flavors this is my favorite. It has just enough flavor and the crunch is great. They make a great salad topping. Instead of croutons I break these up a bit and add to my salad. It’s really tasty. Yes I would recommend them.

We were disappointed with these. The taste was bland and had a cardboard like taste... if one is familiar with eating cardboard. Id say, take a little piece of cardboard box, sprinkle with salt and onion powder.. and you pretty much have what is inside this bag. I was hopeful the taste would have at least been a 3 out of 5 but id score these as a 1/5🙁. We do not plan to repurchase and have discarded the rest of them in the box. Simply poor taste which I can find something else to sub with. Yuck.
