Prime Water Conditioner, 2 Liter

Works good for my tank

Love seachem prime. I am so pleased I found on Amazon the 2 liter so I do not run out. The product was packaged perfectly.

Only trust the seachem products. I have a monster fish and I have to do weekly water changes and this gallon lasts me at least 6 months so while pricey, it’s actually a bargain when you consider I’m using two capfuls weekly. On occasion when his water seems to go a bit out of wack and I can’t do a quick water change immediately, I can use this for a day or two until I can change the water. Also love the seacham stability and have also used the seacham antibiotics.

While I use an RO system and don’t need Prime regularly, I always reach for it when stocking the tank or doing water changes. It gives me peace of mind knowing it’s neutralizing chlorine, chloramine, and especially ammonia. Despite my best efforts, I tend to be an overfeeder, so having Prime on hand for ammonia reduction is super helpful. Pairing it with Stressguard helps keep everything calm, healthy, and stable, making it easier to care for my fish. With tanks measuring 300 and 1,000 gallons, any minor help scales up to be a huge benefit. Definitely a go-to for tank maintenance!

This stuff works great, my LFS told me that if I lived in the area (Ooltewah TN) that the water was good enough here to just use tap water and add this stuff, to get the standard added chemicals out (chlorine, etc.). So far all of my water tests have been good. I just pour it into my 8oz bottle that I paid way too much for at the fish store, and just dose with one capful/day for my 55g marine tank. I also treat my fresh water auto top off bucket with this stuff. Great product and great price.

The only water conditioner I use. It does smell awful but does wonders for my fish. The big bottle lasts forever and can even be used as a reptile water conditioner!
