Botanical Origin Plant-based Laundry Detergent Orange Blossom and Citrus Leaves, 54 oz (72 loads)

This is a great plant based laundry detergent! I got the orange blossom and citrus leaves and it smells like an herbal scent. The scent is strong, but it's a really good scent, and my clothes come out clean and smelling fresh. This is a very concentrated formula and there's markings inside the cap (very hard to see) to measure for the correct amount to use. What I really like about this detergent is that it's even effective in cold water to get your clothes clean. That was a great selling point for me and so far I'm very pleased with it's performance in cold water. It's easy to use by pouring the appropriate amount into the measuring cap and then adding that amount of detergent to your wash. Overall, I'm very pleased with this plant based detergent and I do find value in it's purchase!

Love this detergent. Have been using for a number of years in a Samsung front loader and have no musty smell or mold build up.

At first I couldn't stand the strong overpowering smell and I was preparing to send this detergent back but as I was folding my laundry after using it, I noticed that everything had a nice lingering soft fragrance, not the strong overpowering smell in the bottle, but my laundry had a nice fresh clean smell that I liked. So okay I changed my mind about it, but the issue of the strong smell is still in my laundry room and I would like to know what I can do about that?

This is my first time ordering a "natural" (or plant-based) detergent. My biggest reason for this? I wanted something with a good enzyme cocktail that didn't smell like a field of synthetic flowers. This detergent? Spot-on perfection. It cleans great, and has a good, strong herbal scent. It's also made by Reckitt-Benckiser, so you know it's a good product. The only downfall? It's been discontinued by the manufacturer. Stock up while you can; I'll be ordering a couple of extra bottles. After those run out, I have no idea what I'll do next. (Also, for those whining about the scent being too strong? Buy an unscented detergent.)

I think it cleaned pretty well but the smell is so overwhelming it took my breath away. I only used it about two or three times. Is it just me or does it smell like cigarettes and grass? The smell is so offputting that I think I’m going to offer it to someone else who doesn’t think the smell is as offensive. I think it’s great to offer products that are not harmful to humans, animals or the environment, but I would rather have zero fragrance than have to deal with something that literally made my stomach turn. You offered us in unscented? If so, for some reason, I’ve not been able to find it.

This Is Good Laundry Detergent. It Cleans Well And Rinses Our Really Well. The Clothes Smell Clean. No Overpowering Perfumed Smell. I Would Like To Be Able To Purchase A Larger Size Bottle. I Think For A Cleaner Detergent, It's Well Worth The Cost.

The aroma is different. I'd say it is actually quite botanical, very leafy, not fruity (so if you are expecting it to smell like oranges (the fruit), you will be disappointed. The scent is incredibly strong and stays in the items washed even after extra washes for a good long time. I use it on the rugs for the bathroom. As for sensitive skin, I haven't broken out in an all-over, Oh-my-could-i-possibly-have-measles, uncomfortable rash like this since I was in middle school and my mom tried Tide for the first time. Sadly I'd washed my sheets in the stuff as well, so it was not a trivial experience. It does get stains out well though! That's where the one star comes from.

I purchased this detergent by accident and had planned on returning it. I had it in my car to return at my local UPS store, but for the life of me, I couldn't find the return scan code nor the return option. I guess it wasn't meant to be. So, since I was stuck with it, I decided to try it since it was plant based. I figured it would be safe for my sensitive skin. I don't like to use fabric softeners nor lingering scents in my clothes, due to allergies, because I feel it isn't all rinsed out. But after a few loads and lying on fresh washed bed linens, the subtle scent was nice but not overwhelming. I was a bit sad to come to the bottom of the bottle. It took about half a bottle to win me over, but I'm now a fan and a customer for life. I'm ordering the Lavender scent next and will have it auto delivery. It's was a great mistake and an even better buy. Try it, you will agree.

Was your whites in this and you tell me. It is fantastic! I washed old white towels in this and they look new. Fluffy and bright. Smells fresh, lasts long time. Cleans very well.

Product is excellent. I've used it for years! However, this time it is costing me four times as much as in the past! Advertised as a 4 pack but only one pack sent! And I am expected to ship it to New Jersey in order to claim a refund 😡

Smells amazing! I purchased mainly bc it’s plant based and organic but only problem is - it’s a small bottle. Realistically speaking, I had to stop purchasing because it can get costly. (I often do laundry)
